Good location, passable breakfast. Hotel is undergoing some renovations so very noisy most days. Rooms are very dated and in need of renovations also. If you just need a convenient place to sleep this place will do.

This is a positive review. While the hotel was lacking in character and charm it did the essentials very well and at a reasonable price. My bed was very comfortable, the rooms (in the annex out the back) were far from any traffic noise and I slept very well at this hotel. The rooms were pretty large for standard double rooms with plenty of space for unpacking luggage. The shower was probably the best shower that I had in Ecuador. Breakfast was a buffet and was good, I like the freedom of choosing what I want and how much I want without wasting food. The buffet seemed to have all options all of the time. I would use this hotel again.

The hotel lacks a garden or cosy lounge, which was OK for us but might be a drawback for those with more time in the hotel. A few more pictures in the bedrooms might give more character (but that's irrelevant once asleep!) The floors of the annex had sofas, but automatic lights went off every 30 seconds or so.

Great staff very professional. Really nice breakfast and coffee. My room was comfortable and quiet after they moved me due to some noise near my first room. I thought that was great. Good shower, everything is nice and comfortable. Near Carolina park and there is a good low cost restaurant right beside it.

I loved the location! Easy walk to lots of things you need and want! Also, the STAFF--everyone I interacted with--was amazing! Personable and really helpful. The studio room I had was spacious and had everything I needed--lots of storage, a comfortable seating area, big bed with good pillows, and a great bathroom with good shower pressure. The entire place was sparkling clean.

I was disappointed that the bar wasn't open while I stayed there. I had been looking forward to having a drink in the evening there. But since I had a sofa in my room, I took my bottle of wine upstairs with me instead! ;)

Nice care and attention of the staff, the concierge was so helpful.

The only thing I could complain is the noise in the morning, in the corridor, mainly of the room maids. So, considering that we were used to get up late, it was hard to have a full sleep, and could not take the breakfast too (that goes only till 9am).
