Big pool with nice view, nice garden, stylish interior, excellent breakfast, delicious dinner outside with sunset view, everything very easy and uncomplicated

This property is a very special place, in a stunning location high in the vineyards outside Orvieto. The accommodations are very comfortable with lovely bedding and towels and everything you would need for a hotel stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, including at the breakfast service and dinner. Oh yea, dinner on the veranda gave us magnificent views all around as well as incredibly delicious food and presentation. We highly recommend Locanda Palazone for a lovely stay in Umbria.

This is a wonderful inn located in the vineyard countryside of Umbria. The staff is very friendly and provided excellent service. The food and wines are excellent. Our 2 story suite was very spacious and had a wonderful view of the countryside.

This historic locanda just outside of Orvietto makes a great base for exploring the city and surrounding towns. The staff are exceptional and were so gracious helping us work through a problem with our rental car. We couldn’t have accomplished what we did without them. Thank you Aleisha and Tizianna. The food is delicious and beautifully prepared. The setting is spectacular with vineyards set in rows over the steep hills and the villa has ber restored tastefully and with elegance and a modern sensibility. I would visit again in a heartbeat!

The view and the locations was good. The wines as well.

The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I’ve slept on. Both me and my wife suffered from back pain, and it was really hard to sleep. The beds were making a creak noises when we moved. The dinner made me thrown up in the middle of the night, and my wife had nausea and stomach pain all night and the day after. When we told that to the owner he just said “I’m sorry maybe it’s something else that you ate” (we haven’t ate anything that day!), we had to pay on that dinner 75 EUR fo both of us! Didn’t get any compensation for that embarrassing dinner situation. The pool wasn’t clean, lots of bugs, leaves, really no pleasant. We was there 2 nights and the pool wasn’t clean each day.

- Beautifully located close to Orvieto. The view on the hills and the wine yards is fantastic. - Building is beautiful and tastefully furnished. - Breakfast is very good.

- Pool area could be refreshed a bit in terms of furniture and sun umbrellas. - Somehow the place has a more B&B feel than a Hotel feel. And thus prices are a bit on the higher end for the services.

We had such an amazing stay in the hotel, the family was very warm and welcoming! We had such a personal experience and good tips to visit in the neigbourhood. The views are spectacular and so are the wines and was the winetasting. Thank you!

Only thing i could think of are maybe some softer lying chairs at the swimming pool.
