They allow us to check-in one hour early and served us welcome drinks and tidbits at the roof top where the view of Toubkal Mountain is amazing. Breakfast served was simple and superb. Hot shower was made available throughout our stay. Parking space available at their premises. Their service was pleasant and always accompany with a smile. In summary: Best Lodge with the Best View

Maybe the room allocated to us for 5 pax is abit small but small matter to us 😊

The lodge is situated in a beautiful village called Imlil. It is a bit high up so you will to walk a lot. However the lodge itself gave us a few problems.

A few shocking things here: 1) REFUSAL TO ENTER THE HOTEL. I had come here with my wife 3 years ago and we liked it so wanted to return. We got to the lodge at 10pm after a long flight and long car journey only to find the manager of the lodge (Mohammed) REFUSING US ENTRY until we provided an ORIGINAL MARRIAGE DOCUMENT !!! I found this truly shocking. Eventually they let us in by showing a picture on our phones of the document. We had never been treated like this. We had never been asked for a marriage doc let alone an original copy AND refusal to enter our rooms. I have NEVER been mistreated like this from any hotel in my life, and I have booked over 300 hotels across 32 countries and a huge member on booking.com. I spoke to jamal (owner) and he had nothing to say. I am disgusted. 2) The room I booked and the pictures provided did not match the room they gave us. But eventually they gave us what we booked but reminded us that it is usually double the price but the lodge was empty. Again, Jamal had no response. 3) On another day there were a Dutch married couple and they booked the exact same room as us, and they said they were given it immediately, AND they said they were not asked to provide a marriage certificate. So that highlights the favoritism and hypocrisy of the management of this place. Horrible. Never again. 4) Also might I add that there was blood on the bed sheets... AFTER ALL OF THIS AND JAMAL THE OWNER DID NOT EVEN APOLOGISE !!!!
