This apartment is amazing, spacious, has all of the facilities you need including a washing machine (that doubles as a dryer) and in the perfect location right in the heart of Venice. It has been renovated with a modern kitchen and bathrooms, but original floors and lounge room which is quite lovely seeing the original 16th century condition including the original hand painted walls in the lounge room. The apartment was so spacious we were surprised as generally places are quite small in Venice. It was like a little house! The host is friendly and so helpful, and we had the best time. The apartment is in the perfect location, right near restaurants, shops, grocery store, tourist attractions and a main water bus stop. This meant everything was easy for us to access by walking. Other bonus items were that the area didn't smell and the apartment had a cute view of the canals with lovely fresh air/breeze if you opened the door to the balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and wished we could have stayed longer. All of the facilities and WIFI worked well. It was a great place to chill in and come home to after a long day of walking.

There is no elevator. The stairs to the apartment are steep and quite difficult with heavy luggage or injuries. We also found the beds a bit too soft but we understand that is personal preference.

Great location very close to everything we needed. The apartment was well equipped. Check-in was smooth and we were given some restaurant recommendations and there was a wallet of info containing everything you would need for details about the local area. Would definitely return !

Location and view from apartment was amazing, apartment was spacious and comfortable, everything we needed for great stay. Alvise was great with his communication, meeting us to take us to the apartment and gave us a good run down on walks, supermarkets, gondola rides etc, Apartment was great value for money and would definitely recommend.

Location was amazing. Absolutely loved this apartment. Very close to San Marcos and short walk to Rialto.

The location is great : near Basilic San Marco, good restaurant nearby, transportations nearby too ; The owner is lovely : very helpful and understanding, gives a lot of advises to visit the city ; The appartment is gorgeous : huge, well-furnished (we just might have used a toaster to be nitpicking), very clean

This place is amazing. So clean .. comfiest beds ever slept on . Clean. Amazing host who met us off the boat and replies within a few minutes to WhatsApp messages. Amazing location with great cafes and food one minute or less away. Also so quiet . Two bathrooms. Large lounge. Large dining room and two large bedrooms and great kitchen . Great views from small balcony and very very close to the San Marco water taxi/water bus stop and only a few minutes to Piazza San Marco. Great internet speed . Beautiful apartment and so comfortable and clean . Would jump at the chance to stay here again

Only thing i would have liked to see was the TV in lounge being a smart TV as at time we stayed we could only get Italian TV and because we stayed 11 nights one or two would have been nice to get Netflix or English language TV but it's a tiny issue and definitely not one that would stop me going back

location is superb, 5 min walk to st marks square, 2 min walk to the ferry boat, very spacious and clean, beautiful decorated, peaceful in the busiest area of Venice. Host is very easy to communicate via WhatsApp, good recommendations for restaurants around. Love it. Oh, did I mention the gondola down there? I literally can watch them passing by from our balcony all day long.

it is on the 4th floor, the stairs are little steep, although we don’t really mind. The view on the top floor worth the effort.

Excellent location. Very large and comfortable apartment in the heart of Venice. Alvise, the owner, was very helpful when we had questions about getting in and out of Venice. Although there are many steep steps to get to the apartment, it’s very well appointed and comfortable.

This property contributed to our great stay in Venice. He booking and later communication was easy. On arrival with the Vaporetto we were greeted by the host and taken to the appartement which was a short walk. We were given information about the area. The appartement is on the third floor (without a lift) and we were offered help with the suitcase. If the lack of a lift is an issue for you then don’t visit Venice a city that requires a lot of walking. The location is central and near attractions restaurants and public transportation. We got many valuable tips about the area and the city which helped us. We stayed with two people but is in fact suitable for 4 people. The appartement is large and well equipped which makes the stay comfortable, you can have a meal in the kitchen or in the dining room and rest in the living room. The kitchen is well equipped, the bathrooms are large and pleasant. There is double glazing and, in the bedrooms, double windows so you can enjoy a quiet night. The bed in the master bedroom was softer than what I am used to. I highly recommend this accomodation.

There is nothing we can complain about. Only if you are not mobile that it can be difficult to climb the stairs, since there is no elevator.
