Great little getaway. Staff & management were polite and friendly. Breakfast was good, rooms were tidy & clean. Close to all amenities.

Although conveniently located, room 38 windows didn’t open, and the air conditioning unit filter was filled with dust and mould so didn’t turn it on. Made for an exceedingly hot room.

Good location, friendly staff. Great hot breakfast included. Ac worked good. Parking was very cramped. Good for a small car, but not a full size pickup. Pool on site but didn't try it.

close to attractions. It is an old building. Our room was #6, thankfully on the first floor, but the first by the road. People went up the outside stairs by our room, so we heard that all night. Also hear street noise. The door did not shut good and had a huge space on the bottom, so insects could get in. No inside chain, and the dead bolt did not engage properly. I wanted to take a shower the first night, but there was no hot water. I let it run and run, even in the sink, let it run and no hot water. Had some in the morning. Floor sloped down in different places, made us unsteady on our feet. Run down. Tub was nice, but the side is much higher (high as my knee or higher) than a normal bath tub and no grab bar to hold on to when you climbed over the side. Slippery bottom and no mat. Used a hand towel to stand on so I didn't slip. Complementary breakfast was fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon...cooked via microwave and all cold. Coffee not very good, Tang-like orange drink or orange koolaid? Not real orange juice. Would not stay there again.

Was a perfect place to stay for a quick road trip from Nova Scotia before back to school.

Super tiny bathroom and sketchy stairs and 2nd floor landing…Felt soft in places

Average motel. Excellent location. Extremely friendly staff. Needs some updating but nothing major. Comfortable beds and nice fridge and tv. Breakfast was under par - cold was just fine, hot offerings undercooked.

We booked 3 rooms beside each other (group of friends went and we had 7 kids between us) and we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, shower worked really well with lots of hot water. Our air conditioner was very old but worked decent (they were upgrading some of them so maybe it was coming.) I couldn't believe how decent the breakfast was. We had sausage, egg, bacon and then they had other options like yogurt, bagels etc. The rooms were quiet couldn't hear anyone around you. The deck was a bit sketchy cause it wasn't level but we will stay here again when we come back as we enjoyed our stay!

Very convenient location to many activities, very friendly and helpful front desk. Cavendish has a lot to offer and is center of this beautiful island.

This is the only review I've had to make. I booked a 5 day stay in a single occupancy with queen size bed. What I got was a double size bed which I didn't mind since I was traveling alone. I was aware that this was an older facility but was not expecting the odour as I walked into my room. It smelled very musty. Had to air out my room almost every day.The airconditioning unit had a moldy smell coming from it when I turn it on and let it run only too cool down my room before going to bed about 30 min. The bathroom though clean had a wet dirty rag smell every time I took a shower. I can say the breakfast they served was good and breakfast area was clean along with a friendly staff. The pool area was also clean and well maintained This review is not meant to bash on the motel but more to help them make some changes or adjustments to better their facility. Thank you

Very clean and friendly staffs , continental breakfast was amazing.

Close to a great restaurant, the lost anchor. Easy to get to, parking was a bit challenging with a trailer.

We stayed 2 nights the room was spacious an clean fairly quiet. Staff were friendly an accommodating . Would definitely stay there again.

Kids love the outdoor pool very deep. Keep in mind this is an older motel not the ritz Breakfast was good definitely an experience

Facilities were old & smelled a bit old, however they were clean & comfortable. Convenient location. Would have preferred a self serve hot breakfast. I would stay there again

This motel needs some updating. Air conditioning unit was noisy and should be updated to newer model. Some mold in bathroom above shower area near ceiling should be cleaned. Rooms could use painting. Bed was comfortable but not enough pillows. Room was clean Tv was good and lots of seating and room was a good size.
