The Woodward is an absolute “Diamond in the Ruff”! It is truly a unique Boutique Hotel ! Our room could not have been any more perfect! From cleanliness to the views out of our windows, it was truly top notch! I would like to make note that the parking garage is not convenient for Lifted trucks or Large SuV’s. We were also a little sadden that Macon does not take Pride in cleaning the Downtown area up more. Hence why I am saying The Woodward is a “Diamond in the Ruff” !

Great assistance with modern self check-in system . Emily was especially helpful. Very clean and secure facility convenient walking distance to restaurants and lively places. Very friendly community. On-site bar was nice and friendly but a bit pricey.

The whole building was quaint. The he room was a showroom design and very comfy.

Beautiful unique hotel

Check in was a pain. No way to get into hotel without a code (whitthey did not send after we booked. Had to go to the bar a find an employee to give us a code to the hotel and our room. They didn’t tell us to enter a check mark after the number. No # key. Finally got that figured out and found our room. The next morning, we went out for coffee at 8:00 am and couldn’t get back in our room! Check out is not until 11:00 am. We were gone less than 30 minutes. The only number we could find went to voicemail. Even tried the emergency number and had to leave another voicemail.

Parking deck is not safe . My car was broken into & items were stolen. Hotel was nice but the area is not safe !

Great place to stay! Walk to anywhere downtown. Great restaurants, shopping all within walking distance. Capitol Theatre right next door. Room was very clean and well kept.

Location is spot on right in the heart downtown Macon and just steps away from local restaurants and shops. The room #5 is very cozy and bathroom has an amazing shower!

Wonderful property! Beautifully decorated rooms. Don’t be intimidated by the contactless check-in, they provide you with all the information you need ahead of time. Think oh it like getting a code for an Air B&B

The property makes it seamless to check in and access your room. They are very responsive and helpful. The room was quite nice and comfortable. Although the hotel is on the square and situated on an alleyway, it was a relatively quiet stay for me. The only thing I might mention that could be helpful to other travelers is that the parking garage is quite small and has an extremely steep incline when going up to the next level. Parking was a little tricky, but everything worked out fine. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Macon.

The room was absolutely stunning! The high ceilings were beautiful. My husband didn’t like that there wasn’t a front desk.

We had a great stay at the Woodward. The property is so modern and chic. Keyless entry worked great, all codes and information were emailed prior to check in. This is such a great location, walking distance to a lot of fun things and great places to eat in Macon.

Very nice room and such a great location for downtown activities.

We had problems with the parking. Parking spaces not properly marked and when we pulled our SUV in the low ceiling tore off our roof antenna. We were informed by a valet attendant that this had happened before. The room was advertised as having a balcony which it did, but it overlooked rooftops with air conditioning units and was directly across from a rooftop bar. The properties answer to nighttime noise was a white noise machine that was provided.

Excellent stay, would come back again

The Property in itself was beautiful, room clean, and very eclectic. Parking is a nightmare! We arrive at 10pm, and had to circle the block numerous time to find a parking spot. We saw a parking garage across the street, but no one was there to ask questions or confirm if we can park there!

In a great location, walkable to restaurants, theaters, bars. Lovely room, luxurious linens and a really nice bar in the hotel with roof top seating and friendly, fun bartenders.

This was a beautiful boutique hotel. We go to Macon several times a year and we will definitely be staying there again.

Enjoyed a quick stay at The Woodward Hotel. Updated, clean and felt very safe. Instructions were given for the check in and parking process. Parking was just a tad confusing the first time but easy overall. Would stay here again!

Everything is always great but the hot water was not hot this time.

We enjoyed our stay at The Woodward. The room was nice and very clean. The location was convenient for hanging out down town. We’d stay here again.

I wish there were more directive signs for the entrances. The doors were labeled but you wouldn’t know until you got up in them. The staff at the bar was very helpful. We wouldn’t have found it without the staff at the bar! They are great and super helpful!

What a great little boutique hotel. It is beautifully appointed with everything you’ll need. I had a little balcony off of the alley next to the rooftop deck for the adjacent Quill. Accommodations were all comfortable. Check is is non-existent. It is a contactless hotel, so you’ll never see a worker if you’re not experiencing problems. I didn’t realize this and didn’t receive the check in information from Hotels.com, but one quick call and I was in. Highly recommend, great downtown location.

We had a great experience at The Woodward Hotel! It started bumpy because I realized, as we were driving to Macon, That I had not yet received the contactless code for our check in. I called the hotel, to be told that they had not received any info or payment from hotels.com and we did not have a reservation. And that the room we reserved was out of service bc they were short staffed and since it wasn’t being used that night they had not addressed it. But the manager, and forgive me if I get her name wrong bc I’m awful with names, but I think it was Brianna? She offered to go clean it herself so we could stay there. Then I had to call hotel.com because they had charged us for the room. After speaking with Chloe, she put us on hold and called the hotel. They got it all worked out and when we arrived the room was ready and paid for and all was good. There was a breakdown in communication, no fault of the hotels, but it was remedied and the hotel went out of its way to accommodate us. Which we GREATLY appreciate! With that said, the room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable that we are considering buying a cloud mattress! The bar, Quills, was cool and the drink I got was good. It is conveniently located to restaurants and in the middle of downtown. We’d definitely stay there again! The only down side was that we were on the first floor and the folks on the second floor were pretty loud through the night. I’d suggest bringing earplugs.

Self check out

Beautiful room within walking distance to everything in downtown Macon. This is our new stopover on our way from Florida to points north. The parking garage is half a block away, but not an issue for us as we travel light. The bed and pillows were top tier comfortable.
