Nice pool, comfortable bed.

There is a dance club very near by. Even with earplugs you can still hear the music. Exchange currency at hotel is pretty bad.

The internet was horrible!! Many times it went on and off. Very unstable internet connection and even some websites not dowloading. There were also restrictions on some websites.

This is a very comfortable hotel with great facilities! The rooms were good sized, and had all comforts that are important in Burundi and that you'd want. Small fridge, bottled water, mosquito netting, A/C (was a nice surprise!) and a great bathroom. The facilities is very nice. Very garden like setting, off a quiet road, and has a beautiful pool with chairs, a gym for your use, balconies for the rooms, and a nice layout. Their are 2 restaurants: the lunch/dinner place is rooftop from teh main building and easy to get to with good food and great service. Good selection of local and 'western' foods and beers. The breakfast place (which I think also has later meals) is across the street on the Lake! very peaceful place to get your start to the day and portions of the included breakfasts are huge. The Safari Gate is relaxing and comfortable. it's probably 2 km from the city center.

Staff English is definitely passable, but not 100% fluent, but minor concern. French is a far more common language here in Burundi.

In general the staff were friendly, and the kitchen staff were great. Great location. The reception staff were friend but our requests were not followed through. Our room only got cleaned the first day, although they changed towels everyday. Our doors were also not closed/ room not sprayed as was done the first night.. so we had mosquitoes in the night. Given its sandy, would have been great to sweep the floors..

The poor cleaning/lack of cleaning of the rooms and the breakfast options - it might be better to not pay for breakfast inclusive or better the establishment to if they can allow selection off the two options were given...

Super helpful staff

Breakfast was good and served at the beach, but limited options to the variety offered. Location and health facilities (Fitness center and Swimming pool) were great. Friendly staff overall and good food.

Hotel looks not well maintained. The beach (Paillotes) could be well organised. Sharing breakfast with bees.

Friendliness & honesty of the staff I forgot a powerbank in my room, and it was presented to me at checkout, thank youso much again, keep up the excellent work ! Nice breakfats at the lake, with a crocodile on the beach as special guest star
