The view was great and comfy bed.

No ventilation as there was no air con or even a fan in the room. Mould in shower. Exhaust fan in shower not working and filthy. Way over priced.

The view of the lake at the top of the hill was very nice. The manager was very friendly and informative.

The room was very small and the sink was way too small. It was difficult to brush/rinse your teeth and wash your face. There were no wash cloths. The common room was very nice with plenty of cooking utensils and space for cooking and eating and talking with other guests.

Was cold, very small , dirty and the bathroom shower was pretty horrible. Door didn’t shut was going green and mouldy. Was uncomfortable was so small there was nowhere to put anything. Bed was hard as a rock.

The location was fantastic with the Lake view room looking out over the lake itself. Lovely tidy room and a nice pateo to sit outside and enjoy the view and talk to other guests. There was also a larger table with chairs outside. Lovely tidy kitchen area, and lounge which also opens out onto the pateo. Plenty of onsite parking as well.

The bathroom is a tiny bit cramped which makes it difficult. Also the thinness of the walls means needing to be pretty quiet when everyone has gone to bed. The TV had a issue with WiFi as it wasn't getting an IP address and couldnt sign into Netflix etc...

The parking was difficult to get out and driveway narrow, the toilet seat was loose and off hinge, the basin was so small you couldn't get your head over it to wash face or clean teeth, you couldn't lock the internal door and go to the common kitchen then get back through it as there was key or code. you had to take key walk outside into weather and enter again through external door. slightly overpriced for these reasons

The shared kitchen and living room facilities of the property were nice, and handy to be able to cook food rather than needing to eat out. The room itself, whilst small, was adequate for one or two nights - but I wouldn't want to stay a long stay in them.

Room heating was ineffectual - barely took the chill out of the room. Staff took a loooong time to arrive to check us in (other guests seemed to have key codes for their room keys). Parking was narrow. Overall value wasn't great, but must keep in mind that this is not a cheap town.

Location ,location , location .... Expensive BUT walking ( too bloody cold to do so ) distance to the Dark Sky Experience . Small rooms BUT large fully equiped communial kitchen .

The view was outstandingly beautiful and the space was very clean and warm! The showers were hot and the room was very cute. The Patio took the cake, being able to have breakfast and coffee outside was perfect.

There was not too much storage space and sadly the heater was too strong

It was quiet so we managed to get a good night sleep. However the walls are quite thin so I guess this could depend on the other guests, too. Check-in and check-out process were easy.

Beautiful position. Lovely mix of a private room and bathroom with beautiful communal kitchen and lounge area. Deck to sit on and look at the stars! the hosts were super helpful.

Breakfast was not part of our accommodation deal. We provided our own. The location was handy to the Tekapo township but the view was spoiled by a neighbouring property.

The check-in process was a bit confusing but once the host representative arrived, all was clarified quickly. We do think that this process could be improved however.The host was very friendly and helpful.

Call the owner fot check in. Recommend to call before the arrival. Easy to access, pay money. Good location to see the lake from your room. But the room is very small if you compare with the price. I actually love this place because the lake view can see from my room

Wonderful rooms, super clean and great views on the lake side! The communal area was our favorite part of the stay - we made multiple friends in there and the vibe was great! Lots of cooking supplies and facilities, close to everything in town which was so great! It even snowed during our stay which was so special! Loved the accommodation!

VERY weird check in system. Did not receive any information on how to check in. We attempted to contact the lodge before arrival via internet but no response. As tourists, we didn't have easy access to making phone calls. Had to pay for mobile roaming just to call them - host met us at house. We had previously been messaged that payment would be taken out 1 day prior to arrival, but in the end had to pay at hotel WITH surcharges for our overseas card, which wasn't a lovely start. The staff were really friendly and nice but a little more communication would go a long way for a better experience. Please put up signs or contact guests prior to check in, explaining how check in works. Other than this, the lodge was an absolutely great place to stay.

The view was good the shower had plenty of hot water. The kitchen was clean and there were plenty of cups,cutlery and cooking utensils.

The room was tiny not enough room to put suitcases inside. The bathroom sink was too small. It was totally overpriced for the size of the room. No kettle in room no fridge everything was shared in the kitchen. It would be ok if the price was comensurate with the size of the room but it wasn't plus a 3% surcharge for credit cards.

Nice views from the shared deck, modern and clean facilities.

Rooms and bathroom small, sound proofing wasn't great, check-in instructions wasn't too clear (had to go a check emails, forgot after booking). Instructions for how to use oven would be helpful

too small , no room for even one suitcase let alone two ! The hand basin was ridiculously inadequate . I would question the cleanliness of the bedroom and shower .

Very clean and well thought through. This was the best accomodation of my whole trip. Everything was very modern and comfortable.
