Very friendly service and economical place to stay. Old furnishings. It was clean but could have been cleaner.

Beds were okay. Lots of noise from the street with the semi trucks going through all night. Easy to find and friendly staff.

Direct TV was almost worthless. Internet fairly good. A/C unit on the wall was high up and I had to stand in a chair to turn it on I feel that for guests the room should have had it on. Sheets were thin and worn. Refg was not working although plugged in. Had to move coffee and plug it in just to use it. Bathroom was clean. Took forever to get hot water for a shower. Walls needed painting the current paint was old. It was a smoking room, but felt even then it could have been nicer. This Motel has been in Liberial KS for years, we have stayed it many times, however I will not use it again. Nor will I recommend it. This room has not been updated to even look good. Staff needs training on hospitality service. No ironing board in room but I had an iron, no hangers at all. Had the hard ware for hangers, but they were bent. Sad.

The bed was clean and fairly comfortable. No warm blanket on the bed or in the room. Only heat source was high on the wall and VERY loud. The room was cold and dark. Grungy. Bathroom had a new sink, toilet and countertop. Shower did not work.

I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and quiet the room was. My only (minor) complaint was the door was hard to open because the lock was loose.

This place is extremely outdated. Extremely noisy. Next to a train track, questionable neighborhood. No breakfast provided. No WiFi. Towels should be used as cleaning rags. They were very thin. Don’t ask for any help after 10:00. They shut the front desk phone off.

A very nice motel. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was exceptionally nice and very helpful. The only complaint I have is that Hotels.com sold the room for ten dollars more than was advertised at the motel. I will definitely stay there again! A surprising value.

Nice, clean room in an older motel. Room smelled great, like it was just cleaned. Checking in was easy, friendly staff, parking space was right by my door. Exactly what I wanted for a short, overnight trip to Liberal.

Pretty nice property. The manager is friendly and the rooms are spacious. The WiFi could have been better but overall, I am quite pleased with my stay at this property and would recommend it. The food at the eatery next door is quite good as well.

On the other hand, the heater was in the main room and didn’t do anything for the bathroom area with it’s cold, tile floors. The tiles were also pretty cold, and some of them were broken and sticking up at odd angles. This made it impossible to close the bathroom door unless you stood just right on a tile. But it wasn’t awful. It was a nice cozy place to stay for one night on the way home. Like I said, it’s on or with spending the night at your grandma’s old fashioned and very old house. Cute, with cozy beds. The beds were big and soft.

Desk clerk was very helpful. Room nice and very well equipped and comfortable. One problem. It needs dusting.

Very helpful staff. The room was a bit dark, but otherwise fine.

Water was HOT for a long time...finally got colder. Couldn't get the shower to work. Had to get out and call the front desk. 3 little pillows provided...had to ask for more/better pillows.

Motel clerk could not speak very good English and he says two beds and I said we reserved a king bed non smoking and he said I will give you two beds and I said no but we got two beds anyway. Room was severely worn, dirty, stinky, the shower did not work and there was no breakfast. WOREST PLACE EVER IN MY LIFE.

Pictures may be worth a thousand words, unfortunately not for this hotel. Reviews bragged about winning an excellence award. Pictures of the outside, rooms and pool were beautiful. Not at all like the real thing. The beautiful pool did not have water in it. My kids were looking forward to go swimming. The shag carpet looked and felt dirty under your shoes. You know when you walk on something you can feel it is greasy or oily? That is how the carpet felt under my feet. Shoes on of course. Hotel does mention that it is pet friendly, the smell of the room let you know that it was, incase you did not see that in it’s reviews. I did pay for staying in this hotel, but did not stay. I took my family and we found another hotel to stay in. I lost money on this but it was worth it to me not to stay. I am sorry but I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you are traveling with your kids.
