No working fridge, in the living area, for our 5 day stay, the area floods with least amount of rain, we had a 1.5 feet of water in the street, we had to drive out in it,,, and the place was a pigsty, sand on the floors, feathers from pillow cushions everywhere, doors were nasty, a/c filter was caving in due to it was so dirty, cig butts and fish parts on deck, ants everywhere, outside and in, we had maybe 2 days of wifi, the rest of the time it was out! We got nothing but excuses, we have asked for a full refund, and plan to take them to claims court if they dont comply!

This home fit us perfectly with beautiful views and simple beach access. It is very likely we will be back.

It was great. Only problem was the gas grill. When I started to roll it out of garage the legs collapsed due to rust. I had brought a small one from home so no problem. We will be back! Rand in Houston

Spacious, updated, very clean, a lot of towels, beach front on a nice uncrowded beach, 2nd refrigerator downstairs is nice to have & overall a great house! Would definitely rent it again!

This was absolutely a wonderful place. The location is about 15 mins from downtown Galveston. Close enough to pop in and enjoy the town but far enough that the beach is so quiet; at times we felt like the only ones on there. The house is literally on the beach and has convenient access to a small convenience mart with groceries and gas. The inside was just as beautiful as the outside. It was well stocked and had everything we could ask for. The beds were so comfortable in every room. There was a closet full of games and beach gear. I can’t say enough good things about this place. You’ll love it, we loved it.

This is a great house. We had 2 families and the layout suited the number of people. The private bridge to the beach was great! Quiet yet a good proximity to restaurants.

Great house and attentive property manager!

Our visit was outstanding. Right on the beach, hose to rinse off sandy feet. Beach is wide open and quiet without any vehicles allowed in this part. A couple of questions about the house - locks, etc. were quickly answered. Would come back again for longer!

The home was very clean and well appointed and the view was priceless! Everything was just as advertised and the process could not have been easier, communication and check in/out was easy as could be. We would definitely stay at this property again and Galveston was a wonderful destination, we will be back!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this beachfront cottage. It had enough space for everyone and was a fantastic location.

This was an absolutely fantastic rental! The house was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. The location is perfect; the beach is steps from the house. The house had plenty of dishes, cookware, and towels. There were sand toys for the kids to use on the beach, beach chairs, and a wagon to transport things to and from the beach. We had 5 kids and 4 adults stay with plenty of room. There was a pack 'n play and high chair available for use. We had a great time and would highly recommend!

Beautiful view from all the large windows! The deck is amazing for lounging, listening to the waves and reading a good book.

We loved the house. It was a perfect size for our group of 6. The views from inside and on the deck were endless. The house was very clean. Even the baseboards. The beds were super comfy.

House was in a great location, very nice, well stocked (including 2 refrigerators as well as beach toys) and clean. Would stay again.

Beautiful home great beach access! Did have an ant problem and lost some food due to them, but other than that highly recommend them. Neighbors are great and very helpful!

This beach house was perfect for our family! The open concept was great and allowed us interact with everyone. We enjoyed playing cards, games, and reading as a family when were were not outside enjoying the beach. The wrap around porch was super nice and very large. The view of the ocean was out of this world. The kitchen was stocked with all of the necessary essentials. The garage had all the beach toys you needed for little kids and big adults; chairs, washers, horseshoes, toy wagon, fribees. footballs. floats. boogie boards, kites, small cooler, etc. The second refrigerator in the garage was an added bonus. We had plenty of room for cold food and drinks. I plan to use this house again. Thank you Karen and Roger for creating this lovely home to share with us.

Pictures and description of the house were very accurate. House well equipped at a great section of Jamaica Beach. We enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed in many beach rentals and this one was by far the cleanest and most well equipped houses! The beds were all very comfortable and I appreciate the fact there were extra pillows on the beds! The decor was beautiful and there were plenty of seating options for the entire family. My only “complaint” or rather observation was there was not alot of shelf space in the pantry to put food items and we could never figure out how to turn on the downstairs lights in the back of the house by the picnic table and swing chairs. All in all, it was a great house we are already planning when we can come back!

What an awesome house! My family and friends had just a wonderful time over New Years!! Very clean and you can’t beat the location! Waking up each morning to see the secluded beach and waves was just spectacular!!! We will he staying there again very soon!!

Perfect location, atmosphere, and house! Decorations were tastefully simple and house was stocked with all the essentials. Kitchen had all the tools we needed to feel right at home. And the view was even more breathtaking than in the pictures. Highly recommend.

Our family gathered for Thanksgiving here. It was nice to have a big enough table and enough beds for everyone. We moved the bench to the table for additional seating. The refrigerator in the garage was very helpful. The view is amazing, the beach is quiet, we played games at night. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate together. We will be back!

Our family LOVED staying at The Salty Sandpiper! The house was in the perfect location on a quiet pretty beach with no cars. The clean spacious home was equipped with every amenity you could think of, and we loved the big windows and porch to enjoy the beautiful view. We will absolutely be staying again! Thank you!

We could not have been happier with this home. It was great for my two year old and I right on the beach. The location was amazing and the house was very cleane. I cannot wait to stay here again.!

This house is at the end of a dead end street right up against the sand. First impressions were wonderful and we could not wait to get inside. Once inside, we stepped into the kitchen and could see right through the dinning room and living room with the awesome open concept of the home. From the kitchen island you could see out the large windows and see the peaceful ocean. Going into the dining room there was a large 8 person table and looking into the living room there is a wooden bar seating area behind the couch with bar chairs where the kids would enjoy their morning breakfast while watching tv. There was a good sized broom closet to in the living room that held everything that you would need to clean up and it house about 15 to 20 different board games to play. There is a bathroom off of the living room that was convenient for the kids to use, that also held the stacked washer and dryer. Going down the hallway there is a wonderful master bedroom with a king sized bed that was so confortable that we wanted to take it with us. Off of the master bedroom was the master bathroom with large shower with dual shower heads on either side, a private toilet with its own door, double sink with vanity, and to top it all off a very large and beautiful bathtub. This bathroom was perfect. In the master bedroom there is access to the very large deck that overlooks the beach and the ocean. The next bedroom was the "bunk room" and held a full sized bed and twin bunk beds. The girls reslly loved this room. The bathroom was next with a shower/tub, toilet, and sink. The next bedroom had a king sized bed and was perfect for the couple friend of ours. At the end of the hall was a very large bedroom with two queen sized beds in it and a bathroom off of it that had a toilet and sink. There is also access to the large deck from this room. The large deck was awesome with plenty of seating options for talking outside during the night to setting and observing the calming sounds of the ocean. We were here during Labor Day weekend and this part if the beach was not crowded at all and was nice and quiet. Under the house you have a large picnic area with a wooden bar with swing seating, the kids loved this. There is a private outdoor shower that was perfect after coming back from the beach. The ocean and sand were absoutly perfect and we had extremely easy access to it from the house. In the garage there is a fridge, prep area, and everything you would ever need for a fun day at the beach. There was a gas grill the full gas tank and lots of room to open the garage door and have a great time talking. Overall, the experience was so good and we will definitely be back. This place literally had everything that you needed to have a great relaxing weekend or week at the beach.

This house meets all expectations and provides so much more! The beach has no drive through traffic, making it safe for families with children. The huge deck facing the ocean also has no connecting stairs, an added plus for young children. The furnishings are comfortable with plenty of seating for large groups. The included propane grill, sand shower, beach toys and chairs are extra benefits. The neighbors are so nice and the house is walking distance to a cute grocery and restaurant. We will definitely be back to the Beachfront Salty Sandpiper!

We really enjoyed staying here. The house was very comfortable and spacious, and the beach was quiet and pretty private. The kids LOVED playing on the swing when we weren’t out on the beach. The swing was easy to put up and take down. We will definitely come again!
