The house was clean and exactly as described on the listing. It’s in a perfect location, right across the street from the trail and within walking distance to the restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay. The house is in a very convenient location. Be sure to eat your meals at Damascus diner. The fenced in back yard was perfect.

Great property. Everything we needed was available. Couldn’t ask for a better location if you are there to explore the Virginia Creeper Trail. Having The Bicycle Junction Across the street and The Wicked Chicken next door is a bonus! Also:The mattresses/ pillows were very comfortable. Perfect after a day of riding. I say this because it’s the one thing most properties can do better!

This cottage was indeed cozy! The decor displayed really defined the relaxed environment, not only of the house, but of the town as well. This house was clean and very spacious. The bathroom was large, filled with things you might forget to pack (like q-tips and toilet paper) … and the shower was amazing. The kitchen was packed with everything we needed including a Keurig and k-cups. The dining room table was big but there was plenty of room to move around. The sofa had the comfort and inviting feel of coming home after a hard day’s work or a VERY long drive. Our dog loved the fenced in back yard and even found a ball to play with outside during our short stay. The weather was a little cool so we didn’t get to enjoy the deck too much but it was nice and the patio cover donned curtains that could be closed for more privacy. And you won’t have to travel far for a good chicken dinner. There is a little place nearby that is in walking distance that had yummy chicken and the best wings! Our only regret about this home was that we arrived late and left early the next morning as it was just a stepping stone to our next location of our road trip. Wish we could have stayed longer in the quaint, friendly little town. If you get the opportunity to stay there, don’t forget to sign the guest book!

Updated home VERY close to the Creeper Trail. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Very convenient to bike rentals, food, shopping... within walking distance to downtown Damascus and trail. Some traffic noise due to location of home, but we would stay here again.

We absolutely loved Damascus and this home was perfect. It had everything we needed and more! After a day of hiking and riding we enjoyed being home relaxing on the couch watching TV. There was even some Halloween candy left for us. We look forward to visiting again! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

What a great little home located right in the middle of the 34-mile-long Va Creeper Trail in Damascus Va. Perfect location, awesome home with excellent amenities. There is an outfitter with shuttle service right across the street and one of the best restaurants in town right next door. The owner communicated well and made sure our stay was comfortable. If your dates are available, book it now, you will not be disappointed.

Clean, comfortable cottage in great location. House was well stocked with everything you need. The large fenced in yard was great for my pup. I would highly recommend this home for your next stay in Damascus.

It was a beautiful cottage. Very Clean loved the backyard being fenced in for my dog. I just wanted to mention the back. Porch needed to have a light. Somewhere where you could see at night time. It would be nice to have more pots They were plenty of skill it, but no pots or pans. Also in each of the Closets in the bedrooms, they was a hamper with Dirty laundry. And also there needs to be more towels and wash clothes. But the overall experience was outstanding. The place was exactly what I was looking for and I hope to come back next year. Thank you very much.

Everything was perfect! All appliances are brand new, outdoor space is absolutely beautiful, and the scenery is breathtaking! Oh, and the bed? SO comfortable. I cannot wait to stay here again!

Newly renovated home conveniently located to the Virginia Creeper Trail, town, and bike rentals and shuttles. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Also, it is always nice to be allowed to bring our dogs!

Property was very clean and well stocked with towels, papertowels, soap, etc. Beds are comfy and the a/c works very well. Very conveniently located near several bike rental/shuttle companies. Recent remodel so everything works well and looks good.

Walk out the front door for the Virginia Creeper Trail and the Appalachian Trail... Amazing! Damascus is a nice little town. Enjoyed our stay.

Home has every imaginable thing you could use. Owners have a beautiful spot there. Plus it is next door to Wicked Chicken and ice cream place. Damascus is a lovely spot in the middle of Creeper trail. Well done by this owner!

Immaculate two-bedroom one bath house with a great front porch, back deck, and fenced-in back yard for furry family member. The "Wicked Chicken" next door is one of the most enjoyable restaurants I've encountered—excellent access to the trail and Abingdon and the many area sites.

We enjoyed our stay. We come to Damascus to ride the Creeper Trail and this rental was the perfect stay and location. Also, in town to where you can walk or ride your bike to local places. (and right next to Wicked Chicken. Perfect place for a bite to eat or a beer) It is a cozy home. Has everything you need for a weekend trip or even longer. It has a fenced in backyard which our two small dogs loved to take breaks and run around. It is well done. And beautifully decorated. I wanted to stay longer. Haha! 10/10 recommended.

Extremely comfortable and clean, up to date and well stocked. Great location to town and trails. Large backyard and front and back decks. Would love to go back and spend some time.

When staying in Damascus this is where you will want to stay. Privacy and walking distance to everything. The Creeper Train is directly across the street. Laurel Creek runs right through the town. There is water surrounding this area. The house is big enough for four people maybe more..and it has lots of living room and dining seating. I felt save and very comfortable inside the home. I did have a few issues but my questions were answered and taken care of. I would stay here again.
