Si tratta di un grande casermone (a occhio un ex rsa o clinica) con 5 camere per ala, una grande cucina e 2 bagni. La cucina è ben attrezzata e buona la posizione per cercare l’aurora seppur con Reykjavik di sfondo. Le stanze pulite e la comunicazione con la reception ottima.

Il mio soggiorno è andato bene, ma se posso mettere due appunti per migliorare: 2 bagni per 5 camere sono pochi. Mentre una cosa molto importante se viaggiate in inverno è tener conto della strada che porta alla struttura, noi ci siamo stati in gennaio in un giorno di neve fitta. Dalla strada principale ci sono almeno 3 km per raggiungere la guest house, e si tratta di una strada minore dalla quale non passano gli spazzaneve, non vi sono molti paletti a bordo strada quindi si deve stare molto attenti per non rischiare di perdere il percorso.

Grande chambre pour 3, douches et cuisine à proximité. Nous étions seulement 3 familles dans tout le bâtiment ce qui était bien car très calme. Pas trop loin du centre de Reykjavik.

Ça doit être un ancien hôpital/ maison de retraite mais nous ne le savions pas donc en arrivant, c’était une surprise et l’ambiance était un peu étrange. La cuisine était sale ( probablement du aux personnes qui était là avant nous ) mais sinon les chambres et salles de bains étaient ok 👍🏼

It's a quirky place in an odd location but we loved it. Very clean, good kitchen and bathroom facilities and close enough to Reykjavik for an easy commute. I'd only recommend staying there if you have a hire car.

It was nerve wracking to find it on the dark and snowy night we arrived but all good with Satnav.

Everything was nice, the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. We had a nice view from the windows. The kitchen was well-equiped. The staff were helpful.

Someone stole some of our food from the fridge.

Some room is between to toilets and bathrooms, make noisy. Guesthouse has small one fridge, needs a big one. Also needs microwave. Driving to the guesthouse, from main road, is not good.

La habitación es bastante amplia y tiene lavabo dentro. La cocina está superequipada, la más completa de nuestro viaje (plancha para sandwich, cafetera, horno, básicos como aceite, sal y leche...). El check in es automático. El entorno es bonito.

Es cierto que hay un olor ligero a azufre. Las instalaciones no están mal pero se nota que no se remodelaron desde hace mucho.

Very clean, warm, nice bed linen, showers with hot water, kitchen well equipped and space for unneeded food to share, parking space, easy to get to work a car

I would add some mugs in the kitchen because making tea in those little cups was not very convenient, inside the room you can hear a bit to much people walking and talking

W pokoju jest dość ciepło.

Pokoj byl čistý, přesně podle popisu. Při příjezdu jsme měli zpoždění a do ubytování dorazili až večer ve 23:15. Nebyl to problém, klíče od pokoje nám nechali v nedalekém hotelu, kde jsme si je v pořádku vyzvedli. Snídaně byla skvělá. Byli jsme spokojení.

Nice and budget-friendly option for staying near Reykjavik. Very quiet surroundings and beautiful view to the sea and Reykjavik. Appreciated the self check-in, made planning the road trip easier. Note though that you will need a car to get there.

Sometimes the kitchen was a bit short on cups, and the walls were not very sound proof.

The rooms were nice. It felt like a high end hostel. Adequate number of showers.

No warnings about the sulfur in the water.

The room was wide and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very clean and furnished and we could cook our meals easily. Great location to sleep near Reykjavik. We stopped here after landing. We did not interact with the personnel directly, but communication was clear via email, and everything went smoothly. I can recommend this place.

Super clean and very comfortable. Excellent, high quality bedding and towels. Great pillows. Comfy mattress. Bonus sink in the room. Good showers and WC. Top notch kitchen with FREE coffee. ❤️ Our view from room 15 was amazing. Sunset and the bay. Absolutely beautiful.

Drive in is sketchy, lots of industrial businesses. Property exterior does not reflect the interior at all. The property is a repurposed nursing home. It works great as a guesthouse, but is a bit concerning upon arrival. Peaceful and comfortable, but not close or convenient to anything.
