The location was great, and the house has lots of potential, but everything was just a bit off. For example, the beds were super unstable and wobbly, the top bunk was so close to the fan it couldn't run at night safely, temperature control was super variable in each part of the house so one room would be freezing, another too warm, the back of the house was a mess etc. The worst part was that the dishwasher, washer and dryer didn't work for the entire week we stayed. The owner did get someone to come try and fix them but it didn't get done while we were there, and no partial refund was given for the inconvenience of having to go elsewhere to do laundry with small kids. I would definitely not stay here again and wouldn't recommend.

I agree with previous comments about the number of people that this home, with a great location, can handle. 2-6 can stay comfortably. Beautiful neighborhood close to bars and restaurants. I wish I would have known to bring chairs to sit on the porch, a nice place to enjoy a drink and take in the beauty of the neighborhood.

Alex was extremely easy to work with on everything. Always responded with all my questions, immediately!
House is so beautiful, extra clean, and we were so comfortable. We will stay again with family when returning to see my brothers family in Cincinnati.

Never stayed - got there and spent 90 min on the phone with VRBO support to try and rebook us in another property. This property had 1 and 1/2 feet of water in the basement - washer/dryer, furnace, hot water all sitting in water and the AC didn't work. Talked with the owner who said they would try and fix the water and then get someone out to remediate the water damage. VRBO said they would reimburse us for 1 night hotel but had not other property to send us too. NOW we still haven't been refunding and VRBO says it is up to us and the owner said we made a "request to leave." I could not be more concerned the VRBO and this owner think they can keep the funds for a place that was flooded and it was unsafe. This is massively wrong.

This place was perfect for a weekend trip for a wedding. The place was spacious, clean, and had everything we need. The beds were super comfortable. Alex was communicative and even patient when I had to call him at 11pm because we had locked ourselves out. Perfect walking distance to good coffee shop, a new wine bar, delicious restaurants, a CVS and anything else you might need! Would stay here again.

There were several ways in which we were disappointed with this VRBO; however the biggest one was the fact that in order for the upstairs bedroom to be warm the main level primary bedroom (king bed) had to be so hot it was uninhabitable. There were missing fixtures off of the wall in the bathroom, a broken closet, a missing fire detector, and the ceiling fan in the upstairs bunk room is far too close to the top bunk. I would NOT recommend for a family stay for many more reasons. The pictures are far nicer than the property eludes to. For what we paid per night, we were very disappointed.

This was the perfect place to stay for my three adult sons and me -- everyone had a separate bed; the kitchen is fantastic; and Alex is a responsive and helpful host. This is one of the best experiences that we have had. I have family in Cincinnati, and we have stayed in two other places in town-- this is by far the best. It is 10-15 minutes to downtown. As others have mentioned, this would not be a place for someone who has difficulty on stairs. We will definitely be back!

Overall , the place was super cute and clean ! There were quite a few issues though. Every toilet paper holder as well as towel holder was falling off the walls. It was also a chilly weekend and there was no heat :( The property host did try to do everything he could to help us. Overall great location though and super clean !

We stayed at this rental in early June 2023 for my cousin's 40th birthday. I shared this rental with 3 other women and a dog. The space was fine for our needs. I did not read the listing well, so I was not prepared for the street parking. Or the number of stairs to get from the street to the house. We did not spend much time at the house so it met our needs. If you are looking to spend a fair amount of time at the house, the living room is pretty small and the eating area is very limited. The cooking items are very limited. Not many pan/pot options. We had some AC issues during our stay but was able to work with the owner to get that taken care. He was responsive to our concerns and issues which was nice. We would consider staying here again and would recommend this for small groups looking for a comfy place to sleep.

I was in town with a few friends for a concert. Location was very convenient and a good neighborhood and close to the venue. Highly recommend. The place was clean and well appointed

We came for a weekend away to enjoy the company of each other and learn a little about Cincinnati. We had a fabulous time. The house was a great central location. The beds and pillows were fabulous. They were more comfortable than most hotels that I have stayed. The house met all of our needs. Our host was very gracious and checked to make sure we didn’t need anything.

The house is very well appointed and has clean new furnishings. Central and easy to get to any highway or part of town. The stairs are a lot. Or should I say there are a lot of stairs!!! Beds were comfy.

Such a great place to stay. When we encountered a handful of issues, the owner was ON TOP of it at all times. Really appreciated that and enjoyed the stay.
