Hotel suites our needs well in location and accommodating a family of four with older children (though minors, counted as adults in most Japanese hotels).
The beds are hard, you can request additional mattress though we didn’t.

I put up my son and his friends here, while I stayed nearby. You cannot go wrong with Mimaru properties if you want larger, clean rooms. I discovered another Mimaru property in Osaka nearer the Dotonbori, but this location was definitely quieter in a cleaner area.

It is my second time staying at a Mimaru property in Osaka, and reason for my return is that the hotel offers very spacious rooms suitable for small groups and location is always close by to dining and shopping. Staff is always friendly and helpful and check-in and check-out process is always convenient and easy. Highly recommend and will stay again!

Love this mimaru location, 3 min to Shinsaibashi Shopping district and we can take the stroll all the way to Namba. Close to two subway stations : Shinsaibashi and Nagaboribashi (closer). Wonderful multi-lingual staff, extremely helpful and accommodating. With two young kids, the room is roomy and comfortable. Kids and us had a great time staying at this hotel. I would suggest the hotel have Chromecast for rent or enable some sort of streaming platforms. The TV selection is limited for foreigner. That being said, one should never stay at the hotel watching TV, Osaka is too much fun to stay in the room.

We are a family for 4thst stayed at Mimaru for the first time. We enjoy the spacious suite, the cleaniness as well as the attentive hospitality from the staff. The front desk staff, Hao, offered excellent service and info that made our stay enjoyable.

Great location, slightly away from main district so there's a bit of peace when returning to hotel. Love that the underground parking is just across the street. Everything was great, especially the staff and condition of room was very clean. Highly recommend.

This hotel was our most comfortable hotel out of the 5 hotels we stayed at in Japan! For our family of 4 (2 teens) it just fit us perfectly with the 2 extra bunk beds, kitchen, separate toilet room, dining area… highly recommend for those staying in Osaka!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Downside was the toilet which had an unpleasant sewer smell. The bathroom was pretty small for a family of 7. Was quite a bit of noise from the floor above - loud footsteps until 2am. It would’ve been more comfortable to have a little extra room in the bedroom with 4 beds.

Very helpful staff. My son was sick during the trip and one of the staff (Taiwanese) offered assistance in accompanying us to visit a doctor. Thank you so much for his assistance all along.
Besides, the location of the hotel is super good. Just 1 min walk to underground street with lot of restaurants, convenient stores.

Great location with subway station half block away. Supermarket right downstairs. Tons of shopping about 3 blocks. Our family of 5 shared a 2 bedroom suite Japanese room, it was spacious and comfortable. Laundry machine in suite was an extra bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay at this Mimaru. The room was very clean and the staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. I loved the location though. It’s a 5-min walk to Shinsaibashi and a 10-min walk to Dotonbori. We stayed at 4 Mimaru properties during our trip and this one was probably the best.

Great location, within a few steps of a metro station and less than 10 mins walk to Shinsaibashi station for more train options / connections to Shin Osaka. There were restaurants close by and several Konbini close by for food / supplies for the apartment. The theatre room worked really well for us staying with two kids. Having a dining/kitchen area was really helpful and I couldn't believe how much space there was in the room for our cases etc. The hotel Staff were friendly and helpful, and our kids liked the puzzles they could complete and the origami to try near reception. We stayed a Tokyo branch of the same hotel chain and that was fab as well - I'd recommend Mimaru without any hesitation.

Good choice for families or even if you just want a kitchenette. Great location for transport and attractions. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and had excellent AC. Efficient coin laundry on premises. The layout of our room at this location was a little odd, but works. Some ductwork in our room drops to a height of about 76 inches, which makes the room feel smaller than it is.
