The location is fantastic with great views. The house was super clean, a bit dated in bathrooms and kitchen but very clean. Beds are all comfortable and we enjoyed the dock and sitting outside daily. The family room has plenty of seating, as does the dining table. Communication was fast and any issue resolved

We needed 2 service calls for the air conditioning We were told the system is old and can only do so much. We had heavy rains during the night and the roof leaked. Roofers had to come to do a repair also there err no toiletries shampoo body wash etc. the location and view were lovely But we were on vacation so all these repair needs were frustrating

We loved our time on the dock where we fished, rocked and kayaked. The water views from the wall of windows in the living room was stunning. The six of us played tons of games on the large dining table and the double living area had so much space for us to spread out. The master bedroom was blissful as we woke looking out over the bay. We also enjoyed our leisurely walk into town to Yana’s for breakfast and Boro’s for dinner. We made many amazing memories on this wonderful family vacation. Thank you!

Captains Cottage is absolutely a picture perfect cottage right in downtown Swansboro directly on the waterway on a stunning beautiful lot. You could not be disappointed. Our family had a wonderful time. We will be back!

House was very clean. Location to downtown swansboro was nice. No problems at all. Host was very responsive. Even neighbors were very friendly.

This is the third time I have rented Captain's Cottage and each time we have enjoyed the fantastic views, the well appointed kitchen and rooms and room for everyone to gather to watch the NCAA game.

This place was awesome. Decorated very well. Game room is very cool. Great dock to fish from and the views were great as well. Only thing missing was my wife and I having more time to stay.

My family came into town to surprise our son for his birthday. He is stationed at Camp Lejeune. We were only in town for 3 days and of course it was right when tropical storm Ophelia made land fall so the weather was wet to say the least. However the stay was still nice, the house is in a perfect location for anyone who enjoys a vacation on the waterfront. We walked down to the shops and restaurants in Swansboro, very convenient. Parking at the house can be tricky but we were able to park two Toyota 4 runners and one Nissan Sentra and not be in the roadway. So it can be done 😂. Would definitely do this property again in the future. PS did some fishing from the dock and caught a flounder, a few croakers, a Florida pompano, and a very large stone crab. Thanks again
