I think that this home is good for the price. We are a blended family of seven, so finding a place for price and location is important.
The home lacked some amenities for a family of our large size, like an outdoor space and bbq. I also feel like it wasn't quite as clean as it should have been, but after giving specific feedback, I hope this would have improved. The fridge and oven were very clean, and I felt good about eating/cooking here. The bathroom was clean, and I felt comfortable showering here. King size bed was comfortable.
Considering everything, I would stay here again. It was a good part of town, good price, close to the beach, and a private space. I liked the set-up of the home. If you're a large party, then bring paper plates as the number of plates are limited.

Overall this was a really great property. We liked the location. It was clean and as advertised.

A couple of thoughts for the owners. Screen doors and screens on the windows would be much preferred. Necessary for cross ventilation. We also had planned on using a BBQ but there is no BBQ at this property. The house is not very close to the beach, but it is close to the Grateful Bread bakery, the grocery store, and the library. Oh, and the dogs loved the yard. It was comfortable, and it was fun to reorganize the kitchen. I may be back. Especially if the deck is nicer and the fence is more dog-proof. And, at night you could hear the ocean. That was a treat.

Counter tops were filthy and inside cupboards, had to wash all kitchen things, very few kitchen pots and pans, microwave light is out, coffee pot doesn't work, had to us bathroom window for a TP holder, master bedroom needs new blinds most are missing slats, all doors need WD40 as they all squeak, railings on deck very loose, yard is trashed all and all way over priced for what you get. Stayed at VRB's in 2022 Depot Bay and 2023 Lincoln City was the top of the line. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

My daughter was turning 7 and wanted a trip to go to the beach and go fishing and this house was a perfect location! The beach is close enough you can walk or drive, fishing is the same and if you’re not in the mood to cook, there are good restaurants nearby. The kitchen in the house has everything you need for the most part and we enjoyed cooking in it to make breakfast and dinner. The yard and deck were great to enjoy the sun and the kids loved the rope swing.
There’s nearby shopping and a store (in case you forget something like we did) and coffee is two houses away! Best location for our little getaway and the birthday girl had a fantastic time!

We chose a weird weekend to stay. There was hurricane force winds, and pacific city flooded. Luckily our house did not. It is however filled with ants, has a barely functional water heater, the oven doesn’t fit in it’s recess, it wasn’t very clean, and smelled a bit moldy, probably due to the fact that that the shower isn’t caulked at the tub. The wood stove appears to have been illegally modified, and is very sketchy. We could not reduce airflow and the fire was dangerously hot. It’s not the worst place we’ve ever stayed at by far, but this was definitely a bad patch job on an old home for rental purposes. For the price I would not stay here again.
