The cabin was spotless. The beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was there and more, after a couple of hours it felt like our house. We really appreciated the towels for the hot tub, which was clean and ready. Very close to town and not a difficult drive. The property as a whole is beautiful. We will try to repeat the trip during the summer.

Visiting Boone was the perfect getaway!! This location was the perfect mix of plenty of "civilization" (restaurants, grocery stores, etc) and of getting away in the woods for plenty of hiking. The house was extremely well stocked of all the essentials, far more than what is advertised on the listing - which was very much appreciated!! It was super clean and was presented very beautifully! It had tons of blankets (which was great because downstairs was always cooler than upstairs as there isn't a zone system for the heating/cooling), lots of clean towels (a full set of washcloth, hand towel, and full bath towel on each bed), tons of extra pillows for the beds and sofas, towels for the hot tub, and travel size toiletries in each bathroom. Everything is clearly thought out for their guests and it really showed. They even had marshmallow sticks for the firepit outside and deer corn to feed the pack of deer that graze/live around the house. The stay was absolutely perfect!! Would love to come back again - I highly recommend this house!

The cabin was spotless, and we felt right at home right away! It was so cozy and had everything we needed for a warm winter getaway. The kitchen was beautifully stocked, as well. We felt like we were in a remote spot but enjoyed being 10-15 minutes to any Boone attractions and about 20 from Blowing Rock. Team was great with communication!

We loved our stay at Mountain Time. We’ve been vacationing in the Boone area for a couple of decades - can’t say we have ever stayed in a nicer cabin. Private, almost isolated - yet close to everything. Immaculate. Thoughtfully and tastefully decorated with everything you need for a perfect family get away. We hope to return.

Beautiful location, very private. The 5-year-old especially enjoyed the hot tub! It was great to have separate areas available for sleeping.

We enjoyed our stay at Mountain Time! The cabin was even better then we had pictured. It was clean and spacious. We traveled with my in-laws and they stayed at n the top level and we stayed with our two children on the bottom level. We had so much space and loved the layout of the cabin. We enjoyed the fire pit area and sitting by the hot tub. The property was so peaceful. We will book again if we ever come back to the area!! I have already recommended to several friends!

This cabin is one of the best properties I’ve ever rented. The attention to detail was unmatched and the cabin itself was spotless. We loved sitting on the porch during the day and enjoying the hot tub & firepit at night. It was a good location for exploring Boone, Banner Elk & Blowing Rock. We traveled with small children and a dog and it was perfectly safe and well laid out. I cannot even begin to try to name all that we loved about this cabin but we will be recommending it to all of our friends and would definitely rent again!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a relaxing weekend. The location was secluded and quiet, the view of the surrounding forest was great and the interior of the house was clean with updated appliances. We greatly enjoyed our time here and look forward to coming back soon!

We had 3 adult couples stay for the weekend. The cabin was beautiful. The view was beautiful. We saw too many deer to count. The hot tub was perfect on the cold nights. The beds were very comfortable. Everything that you could possibly need was there from phone chargers to dvd's to books to games. Customer service was great and check in was a breeze. We will definitely return with our children next time.

We rented this cabin as a well needed getaway from our busy lives in the Chicago suburbs. This cabin and local area did not disappoint! Beautiful cabin nestled in the Appalachian mountains and minutes from Boone. We had such a wonderful time and highly recommend!!

We LOVED the cabin. It was cozy, spacious and had great aminities. Only issue we had was we looked for a place with fire wood and the wood provided was so freshly cut that it woudlnt burn.

From the minute we booked the cabin, we felt taken care of. The rental company was great and super helpful. When we arrived at the cabin it was very clean and ready for us to stay. The cabin had everything we needed and the kitchen is well appointed. We felt very comfortable and relaxed all weekend. The cabin is the perfect size for two families of 4 (4 adults, 4 kids/teens.) We loved the location and the fire pit area. We are looking forward to booking Mountain Time again!

Lovely home, fantastic setting, so private and with great views. We enjoyed the deer and birds. The drive into Boone was relatively short and easy.
We would love to come back. The house has everything a visitor might need. It’s a five star vacation location for certain. And I really appreciated the convenience of having our dog travel with us. He and I had some great walks….

We ended up booking this cabin day of after the other cabin we had booked cancelled on us as we were getting in the car to leave! The staff at Valley Crucis Log Cabin Rentals were great to deal with. Our family had an amazing time staying at the Mountain Time cabin during Christmas. It was plenty spacious and they had a beautiful real Christmas tree up! Beautiful, quiet area as well.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway. Well stocked kitchen. The drive up wasn’t bad at all. The Porch was great for our dogs since it’s gated off. My only two complaints is the yard is very steep and the whirlpool tub filled with mold when I turned the jets on so we didn’t try that hot tub for fear that it would not be well maintained either.

This property had every T crossed and every I dotted. It was awesome! The cabin had absolutely everything we needed but it was the little things that made it so special like the fall decorations. We will absolutely be staying again. Can’t wait. Thank you for sharing with us.
