This hotel is very stylish, and the staff were all very welcoming. Breakfast was good, although not a buffet. Location was fantastic, really near to the port and the starting point for the Shimanami Kaido.

The room was an odd shape meaning there was little room between the bed and the wall. Perhaps that couldn't be helped, but the positioning of the only mirror in the room (in the bathroom) at navel height, was quite weird.

Neat little room - tiny, but well appointed and efficient! Big step up from the genkan to the room. Not all rooms have this so be sure to check if you have accessability issues. It was very quiet since January is the off season. I was the only person in the restaurant at breakfast both days I was there.

It’s is located IN the rail station. Rooms on second floor and windows overlook the tracks! Awoken by trains from around 4 am.

perfect location literally above the train station - there’s a lift inside the station that brings you up to the hotel. staff were helpful and friendly; decor is very nice and communal spaces spacious.

our room (double) was tiny and totally over-furnished - definitely uncomfortable for 2 people with any sort of suitcases. we had to put a side table on the windowsill to make space - badly designed. If the room had 40% less furniture (including built in) it would be much better. mirrors inaccessible and steps up into the room somewhat dangerous. plugs in bad places. there was a group of people very noisy at night slamming doors which is unusual for Japan. maybe other rooms are better than ours but for the same price in Osaka we stayed in a 4 star hotel with a king sized bed in a room 3x the size of this one so for us it felt like a shock in terms of value and comfort.
