The location was excellent. Overall, the property is quite nice.

Upon arrival the property was found to be dirty and had cockroaches. Rubbish was left in the garage, we were not able to use the bbq as it had clearly not been cleaned, one of the four outdoor chairs was broken causing it to fall back when sat in and the beds are very hard. The property is advertised as beautifully decorated, but the furniture is basic with some pieces still bearing the price tag and not cleaned regularly. We notified the managing company of our concerns immediately and supplied pictures, and they did not respond in a timely manner, so we were forced to clean it ourselves - we had no choice, I'd worked hard for this trip - I'm a teacher - and we travelled to Cessnock to visit my grandson for the first time so coming up with another $2000 was not possible. I requested a part refund of the rather hefty cleaning fee of $400 which was declined.
