Breakfast was acceptable and the shower was clean with warm water with friendly staff. That is unfortunately the only positives.

The rooms it were not very good at all, towel rails broken, water damaged cupboards, very moldy stuffy smell, my college's bedding had someone's hair on it and some stains on the sheets, the towels also did not smell fresh, the sliding doors do not lock easily and if you get it locked to open it was a mission, the parking is a challenge especially for larger vehicles, the sensors on the gate also looked to be broken, not a good experience unfortunately and not recommendable.

It was moldy. I started feeling congested immediately. My son is asthmatic, and he would have become very sick. The side tables are falling apart. The showers are small and dirty. The driveway was very steep and the stairs to the breakfast area were terrible. WIFI upstairs did not work. I requested a refund after cancelling and I am still waiting to hear.

The staff was great. Breakfast was delicious. The pool was clean. The self catering room was spacious, it was the best out of the 3 we stayed in.

If "Hotel impossible" were to come to South Africa, the property would be featured. The upkeep that can be done by the staff is done but it feels like the owner has put it up for sale while the staff is trying their best to maintain the business. Everything that is made out of wood is falling apart. My room didn't have a remote for the TV. And one cannot switch through its channels without a remote. The toilet in one of the rooms was broken and we were told that it was not going to be fixed anytime soon. It's a property that was once good but is now in need of a new owner. The drive way was also difficult to get into. It's a nice property to visit, though, if you are traveling in a big group and bringing many kids.

The cupboard in our room had been water damaged and smell was terrible. I got an asthma attack from the mold from the cupboard and the bathroom. It was clean but very smelly.

bathroom door handle is missing from inside no soap/hand-wash provided ( had to get my own from the shop) my room was up two floors ( many steps to climb with bags ) parking is not easy, if you have big car ( its hilly area nothing much can be done , it is what it its ) too much sound on fri night, from other tenants party'ing until early hours

Location was good considering the venue of my training.

There were no extra blankets and it was quite cold over there. The mini sausages for breakfast were a little surprise and not having brown sugar meant I went without tea or coffee.

The staff was so wonderful, they welcomed us in a very good manner. The place was very clean and the breakfast was nice.

Their parking area is very poor. I nearly made an accident by the gate. Their driveway is too steepy, as it was raining, eish the driveway is very bad 😏

Nice space, fairly tranquil setting. It is close to the main road, so you should expect some vehicle noise at times. Aubrey was very helpful for anything. Kitchen great if you need to cook anything yourself. Breakfast simple, but nice. Close to Checkers etc. Pool area nice..Braai facilities if into that. Rooms comfy. Staff pleasant. Linens all clean.

The driveway is a bit steep, like most in the area. Ok parking if you have small vehicles, but takes some maneuvers if you have a bigger vehicle and other spaces are taken. Perhaps not best for older people that don't like stairclimbs to reach rooms. Only 2 lower units ok for anyone disabled or preferring walkin direct from parking.

The staff is loving. Cleanliness is the priority for them. Bed is so comfortable, u sleep like a baby and the bathroom is so unique. About the breakfast, oh woooow, it is so delicious. I wish I could have stayed longer.

there was a rude staff member (male) to be specific. the breakfast wasn’t nice it was very limiting. the building is bit old.

Nothing, everything was terrible

On the 20th of March we booked in myself and my family. This was the worst experience possible from a bed and breakfast what a rip off. Nothing like the pictures and there was no sea view as advertised. I put my bags down and opened the fridge to put my milk and juice in it, there was old left over food in the fridge. Walking to the bedroom to put our bags in the rooms and there are cockroachs crawling and flying around the main room. There were no shelves for clothes as the cupboards were collapsing. The fan in the first bedroom was not fastened to the roof and was shaking all over the place, the fan in the main bedroom was hanging by the wires, as i tried to switch it off the wires started twisting, the window in the main bedroom doesn't close, it's had a botch repair attempt. There was mold all over the shower floor. The unit smelt really bad. The add said there is a king size bed which was 2 single beds loosely put together to try make up the size, the beds started spreading apart as we were trying to sleep. The bedding was dusty as if the room hadn't been occupied in quite a while. The curtains were dusty and stiff from not moving in a while too. Feeling extremely uncomfortable myself and my family left early in the morning, we couldn't stomach to eat the breakfast that was included in the package. I am really disappointed in this accommodation and feel extremely ripped off.

Location of the establishment

The location of the room we were occupying. We were given the room that we did not book and were informed that on our preferred room the toilet was broken. The room was stuffy and had no ventilation at all. Even in the bathroom ceiling extractor was not working. The room had a smell of mildew. The bed was saggy and it was supported with a mattress top. The entrance to the establishment is very steep. The pool was not clean. And the breakfast was not good at all.
