Location is fantastic, central to all the events we wanted to visit and an easy walk from Victoria station. The hotel was stylish, clean and the suite was compact but perfect for a couple, affording a little more room to move and we appreciated having a kitchenette, coffee machine and separate bath/shower. The electronic blinds, pre-set mood lighting and décor was outstanding.

The bar and restaurant wasn't open early in the week and later the bar closed early when it was open, which was a shame. We didn't try breakfast so cant comment but seemed pricey as an extra. Would have been nice to have a few more coffee capsules available, but they were offered on request without issue. Otherwise no real complaints.

This is the only place I’ve ever stayed where you are charged for water. I’ve stayed in a 2 star once and got 2 bottles. Disgusting. They are also in the fridge so you can take them without realising. No breakfast option. Had to ask for milk for the tea.

I emailed the hotel about a complaint having to move rooms etc and got no response

The building noise at 8.15 each morning was awful 😞 it was like a bomb going off! If you are looking for a quiet hotel I wouldn’t book here for this reason which is such a shame

The bed was comfy.

The breakfast option qas only continental, no restaurant evening options ans the bar doesn't seem open. Also had the fire alarm go off and had no explanation as to why or even talk to anyone about it.

The hotel is decorated amazingly snd is so stylish! The colours are so opulent. It’s in a great location for shopping, restaurants and bars.

Unfortunately we could hear the night life of Manchester, so it took us a bit longer to get to sleep than it normally would have.

Such a good location! Didn’t even need to leave that strip of the street as it near quite the majority of the night life ! Such a beautiful room, very clean ! Staff were so lovely and helpful :)

This place has still some homework to do (missing bins and toilet brushes, drains not functioning well resulting in flooded bathrooms, light switches do not always react, light stays on when not in room (keycard not needed although there's a keycard holder on the wall), keycard holder falling off, doors not closing properly and not being noticed by the cleaners (so my room stayed unlocked while I wasn't there), coffee capsules and tea bags were not restocked).

Main thing was it was so badly overheated and the only controls we had were for the Aircon. In hindsight I should have contacted staff to see what they could have done about it. It was snowing outside and in the mid 20s in our room. No room to move. Had to bend to walk round the bed as the TV overhung the very narrow space to walk past. No streaming services available, only normal TV. We were "upgraded" to a suite but being 8 months pregnant I would have preferred not to have to go up stairs in our room. Didn't feel we had a choice as the bag had already been left there.

The hotel was fantastic! - The staff were superb, the room perfect and overall I couldn't fault it. I will most definitely be back when I return to Manchester.

Location is superb and also the boutique vibe is nice.

Suite was not very well shaped. No warm water for two days. Although the staff knew it I had been not informed until I took the cold shower. Even no compensation offered for this. No curtains in the living room so that everybody can look inside. Decor, furniture and especially doors feel low quality and not robust.

Front of house and management were first class and could not have been more friendly or helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and although we had some technical issues with the Wi-Fi and Air Con, these were sorted out as soon as I raised the issue. Dinner at Asha's was excellent and Petermans is a very comfortable bar

It would heave been nice to a have a small lounge and business centre to work in as the bar was the only option.

I booked this hotel for my colleague for a business trip as premier inn was fully booked. Although you obviously pay more, it was worth everypenny. My colleague said the rooms were immaculate, the breakfast was wonderful, poached eggs and avocado. Superb. The location is amazing, right opposite the convention centre where the event was being held, very well located and easy to find. This was a business trip, but the hotel staff gave a personal touch and even the general manager Ryan, took the time to come over and remembered my colleagues name. I highly recommend this hotel. My colleague loved it so much he is going to book this place for a holiday with his husband .
