Lovely accommodation in a peaceful setting

Syrah is a lovely lodge with plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable and there was everything we needed. A nice welcome basket and little toiletries in shower room..we did not realise it was managed by Sykes Cottages and There was no information about the recycling so we had to guess what went in it as we had various experiences at home. The shower room is quite large. However there were no grab rails in the shower, the board for standing on was plastic which slipped and there was no bath/shower mat so had to use a towel to stand on when getting out. The main problem was that the handle was loose and the lock didn’t work. More detailed instructions could have been given as to the location of the lodge as it was difficult to find.. e.g. go straight through the car park of the Wishing Well pub/ Mermaid distillery to The Vineyard Luxury Lodges..this is not on any information given.
