Hartelijke ontvangst, een prachtige ruime kamer en uitstekend bed. Badkamer ook prima. Het diner was voortreffelijk.
Het ontbijt was wel wat magertjes en erg afgepast voor het bedrag wat ervoor in rekening werd gebracht.

Sehr gutes Frühstück (dezente klassische Musik im Hintergrund, fand ich sehr angenehm). Das Hotel ist schon etwas in Jahre gekommen, aber es ist sehr gemütlich und sehr sauber, mein Zimmer ging zum Garten raus und war schön ruhig. Ich kann es ruhigen Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

So glad we found this Guest House, we had a family emergency to attend to, which required my husband and myself to book somewhere for a night incredibly last minute.
It is a beautiful, historic and well preserved and presented location.
The room (room 10) was comfortable, homely and had all you needed to rest and recharge, (which we greatly needed to do!)
The staff were very welcoming from the get go, even though we must have looked like we had been put through a wringer! They checked us in, gave us all the information about when supper and breakfast was and even helped with a number for a local taxi service to get us to and from the hospital.
Next time we are visiting Glasgow for a (hopefully) happier reason, we shall go out of our way to book here again, for a longer time and with our children!
I know I kept saying it when we were there, but thank you all again for taking us at such short notice, and for the welcoming vibes (and morning coffee was the best I've had in forever!)

The beds are great and the selection of malt whiskeys are fabulous.
It’s a bit hard to locate due to the one way system in Paisleys town centre.

The Staff were excellent. Scottish breakfast brilliant. Bar facilities brill. Scenery was beautiful. Price - Well worth it. Shower facilities excellent.
No Irish whiskey available (but that's only a small hint).

Didn't even stay there... Asked to change dates... Was refused because it was a non refundable booking.... In this current financial crisis I thought there would be a little bit of leyway.... Apparently not...

Except for the points listed below, this was a very good place to stay. It was my most expensive stay ever, but very worth it. Very nice owners/staff. Very large room, with a good bed and nice bath.
Wi-fi was very poor in my room. One tilt window couldn't be blinded which made the room bright at night.

it was stunning love the uniqueness of it. our room was stunning.
was on a time limit in the morning as had a flight to catch. only had a bacon roll and sausage roll and waited over 25 mins.

The owner was very gracious and attentive in a beautiful historic home. The breakfast was delicious with an excellent choice of ingredients. We had a lovely suite overlooking the garden and will return .

I loved the friendly welcome at reception after a long and full day of travelling. Maureen was warm and interested, and went out of her way to show an interest and be kind. Classical music at breakfast time, with view over the garden with its squirrels. Very central location minutes' walk from the station. Lovely old-fashioned townhouse vibe. Gorgeous room.
Nothing I wasn't happy with. The temperature fluctuated in the shower, but at peak time that is probably unavoidable.

It was a beautiful old house, just off the main street of Paisley.The hotel was very warm and clean and in a quiet spot. All the furniture and furnishings were top quality.

The location was central for what we required, The room was really comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was fab - extra toast / coffee and the staff were really nice polite and nothing was too much trouble
If I had to be picky I would say that the bed was too soft for my liking and the room got a bit too warm through the night

The whole sense of the place was that it was set up for the convenience of the management everything else was secondary - the bar and dining facilities especially
