Okay place to stay for the price

There was not air conditioning in one of the rooms, and it was quite hot

I loved my stay at the Monte Bianco Inn. As a solo female traveler I felt incredibly safe and comfortable. The room was cozy, the bed & pillows were extremely comfortable, and the room had a fridge & microwave which was incredibly convenient since I was out early to hike. Would definitely stay again.

Housecleaning does an excellent job of cleaning the rooms. The bed linens are high quality sheets. Comfortable beds.

Extremely small rooms. Didn't like the showers either. Wouldn't stay here again.

Loved the beds! Super comfy. Some issues we ran into was no AC in the separate bedroom and the very limited space in the rooms. I would stay again during fall or late winter, definitely not summer.

The bed had a very unique wooden headboard in the bathroom and I had a pedestal sink walk-in shower was real flooring instead of carpet had a 12 cup coffee maker, which was totally awesome extremely clean room and wonderful blankets. The kind that are down they're very warm but white just absolutely perfect.

Arrived at midnight and directions to key were good. Easy to find and get in. Great bed, nice hot water. Real coffee with coffee maker. Haven’t left room yet.

Great place to stay before beginning a backcountry trip.

This was very expensive considering the condition of the property and the service. This was not up to Motel 6 standards.

Nice, inexpensive quaint motel. Interaction with staff was all remote- text message, key in lockbox. It was OK, and I guess it keeps their prices down, but a little remote. Room was clean, well appointed. Overall good experience.

Easy to check in !

The place is perfectly fine and the couple who run it are delightful. Great location too. I didn’t give 5 stars only because the place is not fancy. I personally prefer this- it keeps it affordable while having all the necessities.

This place was perfect for my purposes— a one night stay before and after a climbing trip in the area. The room was small, but all I needed. It was comfortable.

The Monte Bianco was clean and comfortable. Many nice touches like new towels and linens. Quick walk to great restaurants.

Older place but clean. Walking distance to everything in town.

The check in is odd, the cabin key is in a lock box, but our cabin was unlocked. The cabin smelled old and like it had been a smoking unit. Room is very small

The room we were in was extremely dated. Anyone could break into our room using a credit card if we weren’t using the deadbolt, which you cannot use while away from the room. Lampshades & tops of picture on wall, lights were extremely dusty & hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Although the fridge was updated with a separate freezer on top, the power outlet the fridge & microwave were plugged into had a short & they wouldn’t stay on. So we could not freeze our ice packs for our cooler & some of our food spoiled. The room had a very faint foul smell & my husband walked from the bed to the shower once without socks & left black footprints in the shower as he showered. I refused to remove my shoes the entire time we stayed as the carpets I’m sure are original to the building & appear to never have been steam cleaned. We arrived late, so our choices were extremely limited. Because it was only one night & we had been driving all day & were exhausted, we chose to stay. Despite this, the shower worked great & there were no bugs. Be aware, the rooms are extremely small. There is only enough room to walk around the bed. No place to keep your suitcase up off the floor.

Very clean

Good value. I stopped in mt Shasta twice a week apart. The first time I stayed at the Inn at Mount Shasta- it was excellent and is worth it to spend a bit more. The second time the price differential had gone up and so I stayed at this inn instead. I think it was good value but not particilarly nice. Good location. Could be cleaner (the things that should get cleaned between each guest were all clean but it is apparent that they don’t do deep cleanings of rooms often enough). If you are finicky, you might not like it. I’d stay again if it saved me some money, but would pay an extra $25 to stay at the Inn at Mt Shasta instead.

Just a note: When I go to Mount Shasta again, I will stay in this same place.

This is a self check in. No people contact and you park your car directly in front of the room.
