This property is exactly as represented in the listing. It’s a perfect location to restaurants and bars. Communication and check-in was a breeze. Hands down the best part was the private deck…just steps away from the beautiful waters of Simpson Bay! Will definitely go again !

This property exceeded our expectations. So close to the ocean. View from the back deck was spectacular. Great kitchen, bath and bedroom. Walking distance to two good beachfront restaurants. We’ll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay as there's nothing better than being right on the beach with your own space and plenty of privacy. Great location and an easy walk to many good choices of restaurants and bars. Very well equipped with everything we could have needed - the kitchen was well stocked, coolers and beach toys were a nice bonus. The property manager was very helpful and it was a nice surprise to learn that housekeeping services were included twice during our two week stay. Good value for a beachfront property and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

After reading the description of this place and booking it months in advance, doubts began to creep in as the months and weeks slowly ticked down. But when we arrived, it was as described and then some! Absolutely GORGEOUS!! We are HUGE movie fans, and I was a wee bit bummed in doing our pre-vacation research of any movie locations that might be fun to see on Sint Maarten. Other than a couple of films we’d never heard of, nothing looked of interest. 🤷‍♂️ Then we arrived and we’re welcomed by Gordon, who graciously showed us all the ins and outs of the condo, the beach, the eateries, and (pointing out at the glistening turquoise ocean) he said, “You can’t see it now because of the low cloud cover, but later on you’ll be able to make out the island of Saba.” “0h nice, I said. That’s the one excursion we’ve booked.” “Oh good, you’re gonna love it. Way back in the 30’s, Hollywood sent a crew their to film some spots for the original King Kong movie.” My jaw nearly hit the floor. Skull Island was within view of our deck!!! Absolute highlight of the trip, just reliving Gordon telling us that! Oh, and exploring Skull Island wasn’t too shabby either!! AMAZING!!! If you are even slightly interested in visiting Sint Maarten, THIS CONDO IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!! 👏👏

The beach and view from the patio was amazing. There were some waves but it wasn't rough water at all. The back of the condo is literally on the runway!! We watched all the large planes land and take off. We loved this! The main road (2minutes driving) had a million places to eat. We liked take out from little Jerusalem and captains rib shack. I would definitely stay here again. The condo was clean plenty of space a lot of kitchen supplies for cooking. Tupperware pots pans etc. The TV connection is spotty, but that wasn't a big deal for us.

Quiet beach in Simpson Bay, yet very close to activities, stores, restaurants. Having the private patio with lounge chairs and outdoor shower was especially great (only two units in the building have these). Kitchen is well-stocked and the internet worked well. Would definitely stay here again!

Never did figure out how to use the tv. Very confusing. Great location for me.

We have been visitng St martin for many years now . This was by far the best place we rented for the price .The location is right on the beach with fanatastic views and centrally located in the Simpson Bay area. While the drive into the neighborhood is not the best, once you are at the condo and on the water it is fantatstic . very clean and easy to check in and out . Frindly staff met us at the condo for check in information and ran through what we needed to know during our stay -informal but effective system . While this locale may not be for everyone - if you are looking for a reasonably priced private condo off the beated path with no fancy amentities of a resort other than super clean condo with full kithchen and the outstanding location right on the beach this is a condo you don't want to pass up . We plan to return next year if it is available !!! Great beach bar and restaurant within walking disatnce at end of beach - I thnk the name was Karicature or something like that .

Three of us stayed here for 11 days last March and it was pure HEAVEN! The management couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, the neighbors were friends before we left, everyone on the Dutch side of the island are the greatest people EVER! We have already booked our Simpson's Bay St. Maartin stay for 2015! Unfortunately, It can't be at Ocean's Edge because too many people now want to joins us in the fun! STAY HERE! You will not be disappointed!! A little piece of paradise! Thanks Gordon!

Beautiful beach with ocean-front view with close proximity to great food and drinks. Karacters and Mary's Boon were convenient beach bars with unique, gourmet food. Seabreeze was our drink-of-choice. Ocean's Edge had many conveniences such as fully stocked kitchen with many small appliances with a grill to use on the sand. Deck to the beach gave a private venue for sunbathing and reading. Within yards from the ocean, we enjoyed walking the beach early mornings. Loved watching yachts sail into Simpson Bay. Great value!

Pros: Temp was 80-82 daily, Pics are for real-clean and ready for guests, Beach resort breakfast and dinner was very good and within walking distance. Great atmosphere at local eating places and all are close. We walked about 1 mile daily on the beach. Locals are friendly. One main Grocery Store-3 miles from condo; others are quick shops. One local gave me a ride on a motorbike Super Bowl Sunday, about 5 blocks, to the corner grocery to get some beverages. We rented a standard car and got a van which was okay. Our Manager was Excellent to work with and the booking agent went above and beyond to help us!! Cons: Local roads in city are narrow, parking is at a premium, traffic is congested, lots of left mirrors gone; but you must have a car to site see. Area had a lot of rain in Dec & Jan; thus the mosquitos were out in full force but not the owners fault. Used citronella candles which helped.

This was our 7th stay at Ocean's Edge over the past 15 years. Over the years, in addition we have recommended it to many family and friends; sent our kids there on honeymoons; sent aging parents there to stay. Simply put, it is a great place! Everything that you read about on the website is exactly as promised. Very nice facility. The facility is well stocked, cared for and maintained. It is DIRECTLY on the beach. Facing due south. Close to everything yet Simpson Bay is not an overrun beach.

The beach is fantastic. The condo is average. But it is too loud of the airplanes and the big party villa next door.

I am so glad I chose this condo and this area of St.Martin. Of all the areas on this island, Simpson Beach was the best as it was in the middle of all the places to explore as well as being so close to resteraunts. This condo has everything you need and more. I loved sitting on the sunny little deck and watching the yachts out front everyday. We felt very safe here as well. The owners have thought of everything like beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, boogie board, bug zappers, and a great blender. It was very clean and Gordon was very friendly and helpful as well. Had an electrical problem and it was fixed quickly. I would stay here again :)

We stayed at this property on our 3rd annual visit to St. Maarten and it was perfect! The place is clean, neat, and super convenient. We were able to take our daily walks on the beach, and our absolute favorite feature is that we could walk barefoot to Karakter beach for dinner! The Property Management company was accommodating and responsive. We will be back! As a matter of fact we just this week reserved for 2014.

Great location! Walk out onto your private deck and you are on the beach. Condo well stocked. Beach chairs, umbrella available. Been to St.Martin many time and this has been the best place we've stayed. Walk to breakfast, lunch or dinner on the beach. We arrived at 2:30pm, got rental car and were on the beach at 3:00pm. Had set up service for basic necessities for our arrival-water, coffee, sugar etc. so we did not have to "shop" when we arrived. Can't beat this!! Coming back here again next year. Property manager avaialble at all times.
