The place is clean and quiet

This was a beautiful property. My only complaint is the ceilings are very thin. I could hear everything upstairs including the guests that got home at 2am waking me up and keeping me up. Followed by the same in the morning.

They were definitely top notch in my opinion. Close to diners, restaurants, and the town is beautiful. The first night was alittle loud in the evening, not sure if there was a bad or party, but that was my only concern. Service at the restaurant was impecible, kid friendly and they sang happy birthday to my son and brought out his dessert with a candle. 5 stars all around, wonderful staff

Our favorite place to stay for a long weekend getaway! Beautiful ambience, weekend entertainment in lobby/bar, amazing food at Limoncello !

Updated rooms and bathroom

The restaurant was second to none! Fantastic service, knowledgeable waiters and waitresses and the Menu was stacked, unique and Delicious. What a great experience!

We were very impressed with the hotel. Staff was friendly. Our room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Everything was new. Even the elevator I can’t say enough about the Orange hotel

Our stay was for a bridal shower. The service was excellent...very friendly and attentive. Total professionals. The food was excellent. We ended at the bar later in the evening and the bartenders were also very nice and professional. Our room was excellent, large, clean and beautiful. Thanks to all!!

We stayed here for 3 nights while in the area visiting friends in the lower valley. This hotel is very nice for the price, convenient location to a lot of sights in the area, comfortable bed and towels. The staff was very nice and helpful in all of our interactions. The bathroom was well lit, has a fan when the light is on, GIANT shower with a rain head. There is a Kurig in the room and two small bottles of water for the coffee machine. The fridge is a wine fridge but fits other things easily. Our room had a mini balcony that’s nice to hang out on in the mornings. The only thing to add to the room would be a suitcase stand and safe which weren’t in the room. Also unless you put the “please clean my room sign” on the door handle, they won’t service your room. We figured that out the first day and it was great after that. Parking was readily available at all times and free in the hotel’s parking lot behind the building. We didn’t eat in the restaurant or drink at the bar because we were out sightseeing and visiting friends most of the time. We will stay here again when we come back to NY.

Off the highway so mostly quiet depending on where your room is.

We had an amazing stay for our 25th anniversary. We can’t say enough about the quality of the experience. Chris & his staff were very accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

Very nice

Our room was clean and updated. It would be improved by better overhead lighting and adding an in-room safe. The bathroom was similarly brand new and modern. It was immaculately clean but had little space to put our toiletries and needed additional towel bars, hooks etc. added.

The hotel is beautifully decorated for Christmas, the staff was amazing and the restaurant was excellent. One of the best meals I can ever remember, portions were unbelievable and every member of the staff greeted us with a smile and kindness! We spent the evening enjoying the bar and retired to the most comfortable bed you could imagine. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

Great staff extremely accommodating to make the stay stress free.

We enjoyed our stay during Veterans Weekend from 11/11-11/12. Although, there was excessive noise late at night. Thankfully we were granted late check out at 12. The area is lovely. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants within 5 mins walking distance & it was great to walk to yoga. The facilities are clean & well maintained. Shower is great. For the price, I did expect a little more hospitality from the staff, and a few more amenities in our room, would be nice. I have paid the same price at several high end boutique hotels & inns for a more luxurious experience ie spa service, hot tub, stocked refrigerator, full size quality toiletries, coffee table books to learn about the local area etc. With a few additional details & services it would be remarkable. But again, we enjoyed our stay :)

The hotel was very clean and modern. The restaurant was yummy. The bed was super comfortable! Within walking distance of some breakfast spots. The shower was huge. My only complaint would be that the walls are thin and the hotel was very noisy with vacuuming at 1 am and the noise from the parties, bar and restaurant downstairs. If you are on the second floor near the elevators and the stairs request a different room if you wants a little quiet.

Already planning on returning next year for quick fall get away! From the first moment, the staff was welcoming and pleasant. The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The food and service at the restaurant… perfection!

Very sweet hotel. The staff is wonderful, kind and very accommodating. The restaurant was a bit surprise---the food was excellent and the prices weren't inflated like in so many hotel restaurants. The menu is simple but there are plenty of options for those with food restrictions and everything is prepared with so much flavor and care. Even the sautéed spinach side was amazing. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. My only complaint--and I shared it with the woman at the front desk as we checked out--is that the hotel could use some sound proofing improvements. So while the area is quiet, bring ear plugs for the internal hotel noise that may arise at night from above and below your room. We were on the second floor and heard noise from the bar area downstairs and footsteps from the room above. But it's a historic hotel and to be expected to some degree. They're trying very hard to please at this hotel and it's well worth the visit!

The bed was amazing! We loved the area and so many dining and bar choices for a small town. Everyone was so friendly. Downfall was elevator was broken and restaurant on site was too "formal" than we like.

Pricey but worth every nickel! Walk-in shower is big enough to fit a car! Wonderful staff!

This hotel is really lovely. Rooms are excellent and bathrooms fantastic. But, why not serve breakfast?
