The host was so friendly and helpful. You feel at home. The breakfast perfect. Very easy to go in Manhattan with the metro. 200 meters Walk.

shared bathroom was a surprise. The listing states there is a shared kitchen, but no mention of the bathroom being shared.

Fran, the host, is fantastic. She stays out of the way but is on hand should you need anything. There is an amazing choice of breakfasts within the kitchen and limitless supplies of tea & coffee. The entire place is exceptionally clean and the beds are comfy. Air conditioning in each room as well as shared areas keeps it comfortable and the shower is lovely. The bathroom is shared but this wasn't a problem for us at all and it is kept scrupulously clean. The property is also up a few flights of stairs but again, this was not an issue for us at all. Subways and Prospect Park are within easy walking distance as are lots of bars and eateries. We loved it and will definitely be back.

first off, Fran is one of the sweetest most amazing people I’ve ever met! She is a delight. She keeps everything so clean and spotless and works so hard and she’s very generous about food. She doesn’t want anyone not to be fed in her “home” and you really feel that hospitality from the minute you get there! So, she made our stay special!

I am old to walk up stairs with luggage… hard to gauge from this app how challenging that can be, but Fran helped us carry things up and down again, making our stay special with her sweetness !

After arriving in New York on April 24, 2003, I had the opportunity to stay at Fran's accommodation for 6 nights. During my visit, I found the rooms to be extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well-stocked with essential amenities. NOTE: I would suggest this property to Indian, Asians, especially Muslims who highly prefer a toilet with bidet installed.
