We loved the house and location but the ants and roaches inside the house were awful. It cost us money buying raid and not a single cleaning supply or broom in the house. We were left with hundreds of dead ants and no way to clean them up. When we called we were told someone would drop off supplies and we got nothing. No follow up nothing. The house is nice but the management team didn’t seem to care about customer service and instead rests on the location. That’s how we felt anyway.

Overall process was very easy, communication was good had a little scheduling issue at the end of our stay host set us up in another one very close so it worked out well

The views were wonderful. For Texas it was well located.

Floors were super dirty; garbage disposal did not turn on and sink fills up; smart bulbs not connected and just blink; there is zero privacy in the downstairs bedrooms since the room with the bunkbeds doesnt have curtains or blinds, just an open window and the second room with the window door has a sheer see-through curtain that the bikers and fishermen walking and driving by can see into your room. The property manager was not any help and neither was vacasa when these items were brought to their attention. Ants all over the driveway that got into my van. Front and backyard grass not cut. String lights on roof did not work and hang to the floor to trip over. Stay away from this rental! The "restaurant" nearby is a biker bar, so theres bikers and loud pipes all day and night which isnt ideal for a family with kids trying to sleep.

Place was very nice and clean!! Need more items for visitors to use such as trash bags, cleaners, etc so we’re able to keep the place clean while we’re staying! Place was great and top roof is amazing!!

The listing photos looked pretty sharp and seemed newly remodeled. After staying 2 nights we found quite a few flaws - some more frustrations. It wouldn’t take much to greatly improve this rental and make it a fantastic place to stay. 1) The front door key pad malfunctiones. I’m familiar with 10-key door locks and have used them before. This particular one would give the error beep after a few digits and not let me get to the 7th digit of the pass code until at least 10 tries. Very frustrating to deal with when you’re just trying to get in and out of the sun. 2) No privacy curtains in first floor rooms. The master bedroom has a sheer curtain but you can basically see in from outside with or without lights on. The bunk room downstairs has NO CURTAIN at all. I’d highly suggest the owner to get blinds to give future guests some privacy and shade from the sun when in the rooms. 3) Bathrooms needed some finishing touches. There wasn’t any place to hang towels in any of the 3 bathrooms. Also, not all bathrooms had a soap dish or a trash can. 4) it would’ve been helpful to have some sort of dresser for clothes in the bedroom. 5) there was a coffee maker but no coffee or anything to make the coffee. 6) Wi-Fi didnt work the entire stay. 7) washer and dryer AND dishwasher was not hocked up to water or electricity 8) the stairs that go up to the roof were very steep and likely not up to code. All of us almost fell going down coz of how unusually steep the incline was.
