Comfortable vacation home with a beautiful view.

We were at this beautiful house the end of February and beginning of March. Loved the location. A boardwalk starts adjacent to the house and extends about a third of a mile through tidal marshes to a lovely shelter on the sound. I was out there a couple times a day. Peaceful, lots of birds, great place to sit and read or talk with friends. The beaches at Fort Macon Park are pristine and beautiful. I think the best in the area. Our crew are all biyclists. The walk/bike paths at Fort Macon are gorgeous. The fort itself and the visitors' center are interesting. There's a shopping center adjacent to the development. Beautiful Hoop Pole Park is accessed from the shopping center. Both are easy walking distance from the house. Hoop Pole was an unexpected delight, easy trails, beautiful views. The owner is very pleasant, easy to contact, very accomodating. I'd stay there again.

First I cannot say enough about Kaye - she is the sweetest. So easy to work with, very fast to reply and help coordinate special needs. This was a wedding weekend for my nephew in EI - Atlantic Beach was close enough with a variety of activities for all ages. The house is stunning - views are gorgeous. Screened porch was a fave spot. Everything was perfectly clean and we felt very much at home (only much nicer). Kaye thank you so much for all of your help answering questions and working closely with me. 100% recommended!

The mark of fabulous rental is if you can still have a wonderful time indoors when the weather does not cooperate for beach time. Hurricane Ophelia kept us safely inside for two days, but we made wonderful dinners. baked, played board games all in absolute comfort. The view of the marsh from the screened in patio is stunning and so tranquil. Truly we have never had more miserable beach weather, but still had a fabulous time making memories. The owners have not overlooked any details in comfort, cleanliness, and a decor that is as lovely as any boutique hotel. I would describe this home and the local beach a hidden gem! Even off season this is a wonderful home for a winter getaway as it so beautifully decorated and all of the comforts of home have been carefully thought out.

We could not get the ceiling fan in the living room to work.

We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental. The place comes stocked with everything you need. We had a party of 7, and everyone had plenty of room to spread out. The screened in porch got lots of use as well as the beautiful community pool. The elevator was an added bonus. Kaye was nice enough to leave a sheet with recommendations of things to do as well as local restaurants. We would definitely recommend this rental.

This was a wonderful property. Large enough that we all had some space. Enjoyed the screen porch and its wonderful view.. Kitchen was a great space for 8 people hanging out and chatting as meals were prepared. Would have liked 2 more chairs suitable for the dining table, as the house was advertised that it could hold 10, and we were eight. But we made due. Really appreciated that the property could handle 4 cars, and a tear-drop trailer. It just fit in the garage, out of the way for the 5 days. Atlantic Beach was a perfect spot for easily getting around.

We had family of 10 adults. We all loved the gorgeous marsh view. Spectacular sunsets each night! Home is beautifully decorated and convenient to many things.

We booked a fairly last minute weekend getaway for our two families, with 5 kids ranging from age 4 to 16. The place was in a great spot with walkway to a private island on the sound - great for fishing and exploring. The place was spotless and kitchen well appointed. Kay was wonderful and got in touch with us throughout our stay. Public beach access is about a half mile walk or an easy drive. Highly recommend this lovely home!!

We’ve stayed in several VRBO’s over the years. This, by far was the best place we’ve stayed at. Kaye is excellent with communication, making sure all was good. Everything we needed was within either walking distance or less than 5 miles away. Evidently there’s a store within walking distance that the young adults in our group would frequently visit. Let’s just say, we had an abundance of ice cream. A pool is just a few houses down. We took the room closest to the family room. I was concerned about hearing the noise of the tv coming in. I didn’t have to worry, there was very little noise, if any that I could hear. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware. Everyone in our group commented on how perfect the house was. Several remarks were made about coming back. Last, but not least… being able to watch the gorgeous sunsets from the back porch. Perfect!

The house was just beautiful, and well furnished. We enjoyed the home as there was plenty of room for all of us. The elevator was a nice touch, too. The pool facility was near by which was great with the kids. We were able to visit the beach and explored the town and we were close to shopping. We took a trip to Beaufort which was a car ride away. All in all it was an ideal home/area for a quick get away!

Stayed at this grand retreat for our annual family beach trip. It is beautifully decorated, well-maintained and the kitchen is well-equipped. The house was immaculate and the space suited our needs perfectly. Plenty of communal spaces, yet we each had our own rooms when we needed quiet time. There is also a bathroom for every bedroom, which we loved. We found staying on the sound side very peaceful. The views from the house of the sound are incredible and the sunrises and sunsets are absolutely stunning. We loved spending time on the screened porch and deck. The community pool is very nice and just steps away from the house. Also, the boardwalk out to the intercoastal waterway was right beside the house and we took strolls out there daily. The beach is pristine in this area and the closest public access is within easy walking distance just .6 of a mile away. Kaye is a fantastic host and was very quick to answer our questions before and during our stay. We will definitely stay at this property again.

Our family really enjoy our stay at the cottage. It’s perfect in every way. The location, the view, the property and the entire experience is just perfect. We would definitely come back and visit again.

The house was great and the house owner was extremely responsive if we had questions. We had 5 adults and 3 children and the living area was spacious enough for everyone to be comfortable and together. Wish it was a little closer to beach access, but would definitely stay here again.

We had a great weekend. This property has a wonderful view of the inlet and is close to everything. It was immaculate and had plenty of room to watch tv or just sit on the rear deck and enjoy the cool weather. We will definitely be returning in the future when we have more time to stay.

Absolutely loved our stay for the weekend. Granted we had a storm blow through but it didn't dampened our spirits one bit. We pulled out some of the gameboards and played in the living room, put a puzzle together and played cards at the dining table. The views were amazing and even watching the rain, listening to the sounds around the house was relaxing. The walkway to the sound being right next to the house was very convenient and worth a nice stroll first thing with some coffee. Plenty of bedrooms with on-suites and a bonus room for the kids to play their games without bothering the adults. Elevator was really cool to use and helpful bringing luggage up to each floor. Visited the pool one day with the kids are they had a good time exploring community center. Kitchen had plenty of counter space to prep and make full meals with everyone seated at the table and bar stools. Like previous reviews we stocked up on paper products, trash bags since we go through a decent amount over a weekend with a lot of people there and left rest behind for the next visitors. We've already talked about visiting again next year we loved it so much. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to enjoy our time in your home.

This house was the perfect size and location for my family with 3 small kids and 3 couples. We each had our own floors and the elevator was super convenient for loading and unloading. The boardwalk was great and the views from the rooms and porch/screened in porch were amazing. Also, the pool was perfect for my kids. The owner texted and called me freely and was super helpful with anything I needed. Only things to note if you are staying 3+ days: there are only a few towels for each room so maybe bring extra. There are only a few dishwasher detergent packets and only 2 TP rolls for each bathroom and only 2 paper towel rolls. After supplementing those things the overall stay was pretty spot on perfect. We loved this beautiful home with lots of extra touches. Nice comfortable beds and linens, and ultra nice towels as well. The house was immaculately clean and has lots of areas to spread out if you are with a larger group. The private little sound beach was nice and the neighborhood is lovely and well maintained. Communication with the owner was excellent. Would definitely stay here again, if in the area!

We are already planning our next visit- It’s an Atlantic Beach secret waiting to be discovered! Prime location with an absolutely beautiful view of the marsh and ICW. The boardwalk is right next to the house for easy access. There is a small shoreline/beach that makes for relaxing and simple water access especially with kids. There is also a picnic table under a shelter as well. Loved going out in the mornings before the fog had lifted with a cup of coffee and the birds! There is a path connecting the community to the shopping center- ride bikes for a quick ice cream or quick trip to the grocery. Right over the bridge to Morehead and Beaufort- each just 10-15 mins away (non-peak). We love Atlantic and this trip really just renewed our love- there is so much to do around there and the beaches are superb and clean. Lots of spots for public beach access! On to the house- tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We loved the layout- there is a bathroom for every bedroom which is hard to find. Guest bath was beautiful as well. My parents are avid cooks and they loved the kitchen- very well supplied! Very clean! Beautiful screened in porch with comfy outdoor furniture. Gas grill right on the deck! Coffee maker is dual for k-cups and filter coffee. We rented a golf cart for the week and we easily charged it in garage. Elevator was very helpful especially with luggage! I could go on. Owner was very responsive and helpful! We will be back! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!
