We stayed here for 4 nights with my family and my sister's and brother's family. The cottage is gorgeous. We had everything we needed. The owners are very responsive. It is a perfect getaway for families.

We had an awesome stay at this beautiful cottage! The beds and furniture were super comfortable. This is definitely in the woods so it’s not super bright and fair warning there are lots of spiders! Wish there was more usable outdoor/grass space for the kids. Overall a wonderful stay!

Five female cousins and we were there four nights. Home was immaculate. We’ve stayed at 9 VRBO’s and this was the cleanest by far. Nice little town just down the street and lots of sandy beach to enjoy. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

Overall it was a nice home within easy walking distance to lake.
Luxury is surely a perspective and the IKEA furniture was new but luxurious would be a stretch. The lighting was dim for a family of readers. Basement shower could use a door remodel
The hot tub worked well and was wonderful for those cool evenings. The decking could use some new flooring in places.

Beautiful large luxury cottage in a private wooded location. Very peacefull. Walking distance or short drive to private beach. Close to downtown Grand Bend, Pinery Park, craft breweries and wineries. Short drive to Bayfield. Childrens playgound very close. Owners were great to deal with. Highly recommend this cottage for a family vacation.

We loved our stay here as an extended, multi-generational family. Everything is exactly as pictured, and the house has everything we needed for a fun beach week. I particularly appreciated the hot tub. It's a quiet, residential neighbourhood; we had zero issues with noise and everyone we encountered was friendly. We stayed the week before elementary schools got out for summer so we mostly had the private community beach all to ourselves! Would love to make this an annual trip; thank you so much for your hospitality and for sharing your wonderful home with us!

The property was amazing! Spacious with lots of open concept space and privacy with separate family room and multiple bedrooms. The back deck with gas fire pit and hot tub gave extra fun options for our group! Walking through the area was easy with lots of beautiful cottages to admire … and of course the beach! Diane was great - very responsive … we had a great time!!

Stayed here with a group of girlfriends. Very cozy, clean and spacious. Enjoyed the hot tub and propane fire pit. Nice wooded backyard and short walk to the beach. Great for a relaxing getaway.

Our family planned the weekend to celebrate our retirement.The property is beautiful, the added snow made it so cozy and warm. There’s tons of charm in and out and is very spacious. Really enjoyed the 2 fireplaces, the hot tube and open kitchen. Diane was excellent and was very prompt with any queries and support. We enjoyed the Pinery as it had tobogan hills and a chalet to keep you warm. Great weekend!!

As a group of friends checking out the local wineries this was a wonderful spot! The house was so clean as well as the amenities, a quick walk down to enjoy the lake views and incredibly comfy beds! Highly recommend.

The description of the property is accurate. It is definitely a luxury VRBO but more than a cottage. The amenities were great. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. My friends and I had a great time just chilling out on the back deck (which is huge). Beds and couches were very comfortable and the linens provided were hotel quality. I highly recommend this destination for you stay.

We stayed at Diane's property this past weekend as a group of 8 for my husband's 40th birthday. The property is beautiful and felt fairly secluded with the trees on the property. The cottage was beautiful with plenty of space and all the amenities we needed for the weekend. We enjoyed the back yard space which included outdoor fire gas fire pit, hot tub and BBQ. I would highly recommend staying at Diane's place. Communication was amazing throughout the entire process, she accomodated an early check in and we were greated with a nice card, chocolates and a bottle of wine.
It was the perfect place for friends to celebrate. Thank you Diane!

Great place! Lots of room for 6 adults and 2 almost toddlers. Private wooded yard!! We were a little disappointed there was no wood burning fire pit as other houses had them. We used the shower in the basement, of which I’m sure had not been cleaned by your professionals. Someone’s open bar of soap in it. Please have the shower looked at because the door leaked and the shower mat was saturated. I’m not convinced the shower door track didn’t have black mold in it from the moisture.

This property is beautiful and was perfect for our family. The house has a great layout and is spacious. Several beaches near the house. The hot tub and deck were nice for relaxing. Diane (the host) was super - thanks! Grand Bend is a great town: music at the beach stage, beautiful sunsets, and great food & drink close by. So fun!

Diane is an incredible host who is quick to communicate and respond and take care of her guests and all of their needs.
the kitchen is wonderful for cooking and entertaining, the sauna and hot tub are major plusses, and the house is close to one of the most beautiful private beaches in the area- warm water, fine sand, beautiful views, and no large crowds.
i could not recommend Diane and her cottage more.
a real luxury find in the area for folks who want more than the basic cabin getaway- but the whole beautiful and well curated experience!
will definitely return in the future for more trips.

The Timber Cottage was absolutely beautiful! The area around is very quiet and similar to a little gated community. The neighbours are close but with the thick tree coverage you couldn't even tell. The beds were all very comfortable and we had no complaints. Thank you for letting us enjoy your cottage.

This cottage was on the most beautiful piece of property in Grand Bend! You could hear the lake while sitting on the back deck.
The home was beautifully maintained with the most stunning furniture!

This place is in a fantastic location and the house is beautiful. It's got tons of space inside and out, good amenities, comfortable beds, and is well stocked for kitchen equipment. Nice and clean too. We definitely want to return. Thanks!
