What an amazing place! Their is truly a magical feel to this place wether you're 6 or 86 i cant recommend this hotel enough , rooms were great , staff we're amazing, and the food was perfect , all in all my stay here made my family holiday perfect , so much so that i plan to return here very soon

Very Nice hotel, cozy, god for the Children.Perfect rooftop bar. A little caos at breakfast,too many people, started closeing one of the hot dishes before 10:30 and makeing a large cue at the other.

Perfect for family with kids or people who enjoy amusement parks.

Great hotel

Very quiet

I liked that majority of the time this hotel is quiet. There was tons of kids running around having fun but was not being disturbing. I requested a high level so I could be away from the chatter in the lobby. However, The room doors slams very loudly which shakes the walls and bed. So in mornings when everyone goes in and out rooms it can be very hard to sleep. Also, housekeeping are going in and out rooms with doors slamming. I did not like this and slamming doors causes me to have bad migraines. If you hold the door while you exit the room you can prevent doors from slamming. Other than that this hotel was great. Food and drinks where delicious.

This was such a fun hotel! We needed a space for our family of 5, and we’re happy to find these accommodations. The hotel was clean and fresh with wonderful amenities. We loved that the kids bunk area was sectioned off from the main room and there were plentiful hooks in the room to help us stay organized. The in-room coffee station also has hot cocoa which was a fun touch. The lobby was gorgeous and well themed with ample space to relax. Our 6 year old loved the slide and must have gone down it 30 times… we also appreciated the game room full of toys, games and free air hockey. There was a movie theater too showing kids movies, but we didn’t have a chance to watch them - a fun feature though. The breakfast buffet was huge and had a great variety of food to try. We went near opening time both mornings and it was fairly calm (you get an email before you arrive to schedule your breakfast times, but we were able to adjust them once there to an alternate available time). So much good food, a fancy coffee machine and it was all delicious! They also have a (free) carouse adjacent to the breakfast restaurant in case the kiddos want to take a spin. We were got going to the amusement park, but instead exploring Göteborg and this was a good location for this (convenient tram access to the train station and several transit options). This hotel was parent and kid friendly. Some kid-friendly hotels seem to forget about the parents, but this one was pleasant for everyone!

Great hotel. But if on 2nd floor be prepared for 100’s of excited kids playing on the slide.

A wonderful place for families with young children. Only complaint is that our children did not want to leave!! From start to finish, we loved our stay.

My plane was delayed into Gothenburg meaning arriving at the hotel at 1am. Even though it was late I was greet warmly by a lady on the desk after praying there would still be someone there to let me enter the hotel. I was checked in with no issues and quickly given my key card and was on my way to the room after booking my breakfast slots. On entering the room it was extra clean and tidy with no issues at all. The room was spotless and bed well made. The room had a small fridge enough for a small amount of shopping. The room came with some lovely toiletries and a kettle and a selection of tea plus some milk and sugar. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of fruit, meats, cheese, cakes, breads and the usual bacon and eggs. The hotel provided a selection of vegan and gluten free items and if you needed more you could speak to a chef to see what foods they could offer. The cafe and ice cream bar in the hotel was good and offered a great selection of items Everything in the hotel has been well thought out and there’s even a carousel, which operates at certain times of the morning and afternoon. I’d definitely stay here again when I visit Liseberg. The hotel is right next to the park, so only have to come out of the door and your into the park. The hotel has good transport links with a tram stop right outside the hotel meaning for quick connections into the city itself. On checking out the staff were great and took my case at the reception for safe keeping.

Fun family friendly place to stay while visiting the amusement park.

A must visit place specially for families , will definitely visit again , this place is perfect if you got kids , extremely family friendly with great facilities and staff.

Fantastic experience. Only complaint is that light switches were confusing. At one point we turned power off to whole room. They promptly assisted us but wish there was some info about how to work them.

Beautiful hotel

This is not a hotel for adults, noisy and chaos with children running and screaming. You cannot drive up to the door of the hotel to unload so if you are a regular traveler with suitcases, you will have a hard time to check in and out. The hotel listed it has its own parking but we were sent to a public parking structure with overloaded capacity and had to maneuver our way to turn around in very tight space to get out. The restaurant was overpriced for what it offered. The breakfast boxes packed for us were just frozen burritos. With its extensive breakfast buffet, the hotel should have provided a more caring packed box but it showed lack of care. We will not stay there again if we ever need to go to Goteborg again.

Wow! That is the first impression you get, walking into the Grand Curiosa Hotel. The atmosphere was perfect for families (with kids), and the location was great even for exploring other parts of Gothenburg. This is probably the best hotel option (better than Gothia Towers) if you will be spending a day at Liseberg. + We got free entry to Liseberg the evening we arrived. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Easy to take a break from Liseberg and return to the hotel room. Good gym facilities and a movie theater and game room for kids. Well planned rooms. The rooftop bar was a great place to hang out. Lots of dining options. - Lots of kids. Of course this is expected and only a problem when unsupervised kids have conflict with each other. Would have loved an evening/late night showing in the movie theater for older kids/adults.

Perfect for families with kids, very practical to be next to the park. The room was ok, one of the mattresses in the bunk bed was very thin and uncomfortable to sleep in. The bedroom seemed old and overall a bit dirty.

Comfy master bed with a tv on wall, the room included with 3 extra beds for kids/family. Good and adjustable ventilation. Good size bathroom includes soap and shampoo with mild fragrance, clean white towels. Overall good service and great breakfasts buffe.

Bra hotel for barnefamilier.

We visited the hotel purely to visit the park. It was convenient for that that and getting into the centre of the town. The hotel was excellent. Check in was simple. We were a family of 4, with late teen kids. We had a family room so a king and some bunks with a trundle. The room was clean. The bathroom was great really nice walk in shower. We had tea and coffee in the room with a kettle: there was also a free safe. The bead were comfortable with a good topper and simple white cotton sheets. The AC worked well but it was not hot at all during our stay and we had the window open for air. The breakfast was included: the buffet was fantastic. One of my children is a vegan. Not a problem. We also ate at the evening buffet the first night which was also fine. This is a family hotel. We visited during the Swedish school holidays. There were a lot of families there. There is a slide from the first floor to the reception and if you use the stairs to go up from reception you always had to be careful of the kids running up and down and their shoes which were either at the bottom of the stairs or at the very top. But you could always just catch the lift. If you don’t like being around kids maybe choose another hotel. The hotel reminded me of the Alton Towers hotels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Liseberg and the hotel: completely recommend it and would go back tomorrow for the scrambled eggs alone.

Was a very nice room with nice lighting, lots of space and a short walk from the city center very pleased!!

The hotel was nice and we like the room set up, but one of the kids mattresses the one practically on the floor made lots of noise. My daughter and I were kept awake by the noise. Another this was our air conditioning was off and we thought we got it to work, but when we got back late we realised it still wasn’t on. The room was too warm all night. It the air conditioning is off regularly the hotel should inform guests how to use it.

Diffentially a different sort of place but in a good way. With all the people coming and going our very nice rooms were very quiet. Staff were excellent . breakfast excellent and plenty of lifts.
