Location, but then that's why we booked, nice scenery, and close to where I had to be, The Bird in hand was as expected, no surprises

Small but cosy room, the bar area could do with updating, But all in all as expected, as I have been here before, but not stayed over night

Location was good

Booked last minute, wasn’t to standards I expect. Toilet and shower were dirty with hairs etc visible. I didn’t stay

The price

They didn’t do the breakfast They didn’t do any food at all as they had a function on I was also critisised for booking 2 room One with a one without breakfast But there was no other option on the site No one around to hand the keys to in the morning Either

Great value for money, comfortable room, nice view from room 1 (of the canal).

The staff were excellent as was the breakfast.

The weather.

Great location to explore Stourport. 10 min walk to get into town centre Very clean rooms nicely furnished with all the expected amenities. Traditional pub and very friendly staff.

Only slight criticism. The single beds are very narrow even by single bed standards. Not ideal if you are used to a larger bed but were very comfortable despite the size. Try and book a double room if one is available if you like a bit more space whilst sleeping.

The room was very clean and everything looked new.

The room was very basic, no hairdryer, the tea making facilities were minimal. There were wooden sticks instead of teaspoons, which made it difficult to remove teabags without dripping it on the carpet. The television had to be unplugged to plug the kettle in. The kettle had to be handled carefully otherwise the steam burned the hand. The bedside lights didn’t work. The duvet was very thick which made it too hot in July. We didn’t feel welcome, there was not a friendly atmosphere.

I don’t like and i was not allowed for check in al though i was charged fully. Shame!

Guys be carefull. Don’t stay here. The doesn’t care about guest’s situation. The host didn’t let me check in although i sent message for late night checking but the host denied me boldly telling “i am going to sleep and i cant let you check in”. It is worst experience ever in life. I was charged full for nothing. I have never seen such a rude and irresponsible host ever!
