A fantastic little hotel that we booked at the last minute after we found the beach side hotel we had booked from home was horrid. The staff were all friendly and incredibly helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The setting was delightful - a quiet spot on the banks of a lagoon away from the hustle and bustle of down town Mirissa, but close enough to get into town or down to the beach in a few minutes by tuk tuk or 15 mins walk along the canal. On our 2nd day here we didn't even leave the grounds. We borrowed the canoe to paddle on the lagoon, read by the pool, and ate all our meals here - and they were all delicious. We will definitely come back again and tell all our friends to visit.

Not a problem for us, but be aware that this hotel is very close to the train line so if you are a light sleeper, ask for a ground floor room, or bring some ear plugs.

Fabulous helpful staff, service was great. Room was spacious with a lovely balcony and outdoor seating. Food was delicious too. Location was good but it is easy to go wrong when using satnav.

The pool needs the bugs taken out with a net at least once or twice a day.

Cozy and well maintained rooms. Very clean and comfy place. The hotel has a wonderful lake spot. Highly recommended

Lovely hotel with caring staff. The hotel is located in a very romantic place - on the shore of a lake. The access to the lake is subtle and surrounded by greenery. There is an opportunity to go kayaking, which we took advantage of. While paddling a decent distance from the shore, my partner lost balance and flipped over on a single kayak. It was not dangerous at all since the lake is shallow, and we were equipped with life jackets. We were amazed that within 4-5 minutes after one of the two kayaks flipped, the hotel staff, in the form of rescuers, were already sailing towards us on a small barge. It was so pleasant. The hotel workers are extremely responsible, caring, and friendly. Our absence during the night (when we were at a party) was also noticed, and the hotel staff wrote to us, discreetly checking if everything was okay with us. Our stay at the hotel exceeded our expectations: the room was perfectly clean, the bedding was soft and of high quality, there was an extensive range of toiletries, well-maintained grounds, a clean swimming pool, and delicious food. This is one of the best places we stayed during our month-long trip around the island.

During our stay, there were Europeans living in the neighboring room who wanted to create conflict with us out of nowhere. But this doesn't reflect on the hotel, it's important to understand that it's a global situation. And we are Russians. For us, it wasn't a problem. We always maintain a positive attitude in any life situation because our lives pass by too quickly, and we don't want to waste it on conflicts.
