Location is great. Beautiful view of the mountains. Easy access to local parks, stores and beaches.

No AC so we couldn’t rest well especially at night when we really needed sleep. Also, It’s too hot so we couldn’t stay at the house during the day.

The condo was a good size, clean, and well furnished. Of course it was nothing fancy - this is Kauai after all. But we were very pleased to arrive and see such a nice space. The kitchen is stocked with appliances and spices, cooking oil, etc. The location of unit 6A was great - at the end of a row of 4 condos overlooking a nicely groomed lawn area with almost no foot traffic. It is ground level, with no unit above.

The king bed was in the small room, and the queen bed was in the master bedroom, which seemed a little backwards. We gave the kid the big room so we could have the bigger bed. But it ended up working out well, because the toilet in the master bedroom kept going on and off constantly, so we turned the water to the toilet off for our stay. The ants got pretty bad by day 2, but that is pretty normal for Kauai. It was manageable. We tried contacting the the folks at Vacasa because they didn't leave any laundry detergent and they never responded. No big deal - we just went and bought some. Hopefully they would be more responsive if there was a real issue.
