Our Italian holiday began in beautiful Furore! Our amazing host, Saverio, was so very helpful & excellent with communicating. He met us immediately upon our arrival to show us where to park. He himself transferred ALL of our luggage up to his LOVELY apartment using the hand-made trolley system which he & his father have created. (Quite impressive engineering, actually!) Once we walked up ALL the stairs (okay, that's one thing you need to be prepared for... THE MANY STEPS!), there was a big bowl of fresh fruits (hand picked from his garden) welcoming us to the charming & well-stocked kitchen. Saverio's mom had even prepared for us a delicious homemade pie (still warm!) and a jar of home made jam! In the fridge were 2 bottles of homemade wine (made from his own grape orchard) as well as a nice bottle of Prosecco! The house itself was very clean and has been updated nicely! One day, We chartered one of Saverio's boats for an amazing tour of the Amalfi coast! Giorggio, our boat pilot & good friend of Saverio, was a fantastic host! He found special places for us to swim, to jump off a cliff, and to go eat. We had a yummy meal at the secluded "Theresa" restaurant --- which is ONLY accessible by boat! We cannot say enough nice things about our stay at "Casa Saverio"! We were 4 adults travelling, two in our 50's with our mom (78 yrs) & our father (86 yrs). While the stairs were indeed challenging for our very "wise" parents, we all have only lovely memories of "Casa Saverio"!

Beautiful apartment in the hills of Amalfi Coast. Saverio was a fantastic host who was promptly available whenever we had a question or needed assistance. Apartment was spacious, well equipped and impeccable. Only thing missing from our visit was the sun which was completely out of the control of our host. :) if you want a real experience of life in the hills of Amalfi Coast away from the tourist we recommend this apartment. Maybe next time we can come back and enjoy a boat ride with Saverio.

The apartment was well appointed, immaculate and very comfortable. The views from our various porches were fantastic. The owners left a nice welcome offering including homemade wine [very nice], home made pie and fresh fruit fro their garden. Everyone loved the apartment.
The only downside are the steps and some tight driving conditions. Other than that it's a great place to use as a base with easy access to Positano, Ravello, Amalfi and others.
Definitely recommend looking at this option if you planning on going to the Amalfi coast.

This is my second visit to Casa Saverio's home and I assure you it will not be my last! The home is beautiful, and the views are breath taking!
Saverio is a fabulous host, and we took him up on his offer to experience the coast on his boat. Best day ever!! I highly recommend this property.

Saverio and his family were amazing hosts. As with other reviews, home was very clean, beautiful views, lots of steps! Saverio helped organize taxis and day trips and our boat tour of the Amalfi coast was an amazing day! There is a shuttle bus that runs a few times (2-3) a day, a few doors down from his place, that you can take to Amalfi or the beach which we used. There is one restaurant Relish a few doors away which was delicious for breakfast lunch and dinner. Thank you Saverio and family for sharing your home with us and being such wonderful hosts!! We loved our trip and highly recommend!!

Saverio and family are just amazing from arriving to departure.
The appartement is amazing and the view on the mediteranean incredible.
Your can’t miss a tour boat with Saverio and the culinary course with Christine, his mom.
I would definitivly recommend this apartment as a 5 stars.
Love you Saverio

This was our third stay at Casa Saverio, we love it so much! Saverio and his family are incredibly helpful and generous every stay. My sister got married in Furore during our trip and Saverio was extremely helpful in coordinating transportation and answering any questions we had. Highly recommend a day on the boat with Saverio while he gives you a tour of the Amalfi coast! Always the best experience staying here.

Thank you, Sevario for the use of your beautiful home. The views were stunning, the home was so clean and spacious and well-equipped. The pie, jam, and wines left for our enjoyment by Saverio and his family were an added special touch that made us feel welcome. Saverio is an extremely responsive host! He quickly answers all questions before, during, and after the trip.
The home was perfect for our adult family of 5. As clearly noted in the description, there are several stairs leading to the property. This is very common in the Amalfi Coast, so note this when planning a visit. The luggage pulley system that they have created is genius!
The home was very clean and updated. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy. Views of the Sea for days!
The highlights of our trip were the two days we spent with Saverio on his boat that holds up to 12 people. You definitely want to charter Saverio's boat while you are there. Another highlight was the cooking class with Saverio and his mother and father. We had such a beautiful evening creating a delicious meal with their lovely family.
Relish Restaurant is located below the home for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We LOVED this little spot.
Furore was a wonderful choice for our family because we were able to have a central location in the Amalfi Coast that allowed us to take several day trips to the surrounding towns. My biggest tip for visitors is to HIRE A DRIVER. It made our stay less stressful and more enjoyable.

From check in- where Saverio's mom welcomed us with a home made cake, champagne and wine, to the amazing trip to Capri and back on Saverio's boat, the time in Casa Saverio was amazing. The home is immaculate with beautiful views, upgraded throughout and with gorgeous gardens. Like every home on the Amalfi coast there are stairs, but we quickly got accustomed to them. Thank you Saverio, and to your parents too.

If you visit the Amalfi coast and need a spacious, three bedroom and three bathroom accommodation, this is your place! It is spacious, super clean, and modern. We were welcomed with excellent homemade wine, jam and a large bowl of fresh fruit on the table. We also enjoyed a cooking class event and dinner with his family - not to be missed. Savario accommodated our every need with pleasure. If Vrbo had a "super-super" host category, Savario would certainly qualify!

This property was even better than we could have imagined - it even had a large garage to park our large 9 person van.! The views will take your breath away and the home was very updated, clean, and fully stocked with everything you will need. The host was incredibly helpful and took such good care of us. Even provided homemade jam, wine, and a strawberry pie upon arrival. Be sure and take advantage of the Italian cooking class by Christina. That ended up being one of our all-time favorite experiences while in Italy. We will definitely visit this property again!!

Beautiful Amafi Coast Secret
This property is fantastic! It is super clean, has everything you need for just living and preparing amazing meals. Such a special welcome of homemade treats and wine. Sedaris has fantastic communication and a true sense of hospitality. The two highlights of our trip were the Amalfi Coast boat tour on Saverio's boat (do not miss it) and the cooking class with momma Christine and papa Umberto. The location is not super close to supermarkets or restaurants, although Relish is very close and we felt like family there. We did not rent a car so used taxi and private drivers, the roads are very narrow and windy. I would so love to return to this perfect place. Thank you!

Stop looking and book this place right now.
My wife and I had a list of traits that we were looking for in a rental on the Amalfi coast, and this place ticked off every one on our list, and then some:
Centrally located on the coast. It’s conveniently located whether you’re going north to Positano or Sorrento, south to Moiano or Vietri, or east to Pompeii for the day.
A secure, designated (free) place to park a rental car. And it’s in a covered garage on-site here.
A spectacular view. It surely is from the high vantage point above the Mediterranean.
Clean and in good condition. This place was in perfect condition and has really nice appliances in the kitchen, and a good size HD monitor with Apple TV and high speed wifi for your use. There’s even a nice Bluetooth speaker to play your music with.
Quiet- not close to noisy vehicular traffic such as the main highway or busy roads. In fact, the location is downright peaceful. And there is plenty of private outdoor space for your relaxation as well.
A/C (or heat, as is sometimes necessary) in every room, and at no additional charge.
All contacts (such as check-in) and other concerns are handled by the owner, and not a representative or property management company who may or may not be easily reachable.
Not a single bad review. This was one of the most important to us. Not only were there no bad reviews, but pretty much every review -and there are many for this listing- was glowing. And for good reason. Saverio, the host, was the most friendly and charming person we met while on vacation. Our satisfaction seemed to be his only concern. He went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as it could possibly be. And he is supported in that capacity by his father and mother (who, by the way, provided us with some delicious home-baked items at a couple of points during our stay). A big thank you to Saverio and his family for making our vacation a great one. If we go back again, we’re definitely going to stay at Casa Saverio!

Four Nights in Furore
We had a great, relaxing time and the host was helpful and accommodating. Did have to drive to get to store, restaurant's, etc., but beautiful property and view. The wine, pie, preserves, tomatoes, and fruit were a nice welcome.

Amazing experience
The house was super clean. Amazing view and the host was super nice and helped us with our luggage. The neighbor was super nice and show us how to get to the bus because we were a little lost. They’re all very welcoming. And their homemade wine is amazing! They welcome you with wine and pie. Loved itt!

Very clean, large appartement with great ocean view from both the terrasse and balcony.
The host is very friendly, helpfull and flexible and the appartment is well equipped. Espicially we loved that there was homemade pie, apricot jam, whine and olive oil and fresh fruit from the garden.
Each room with their own bathroom - all new and again very.
clean.
only one little complaint - the beds are all with a very hard matress.
Otherwise we just loved it!

Amazing and Unforgettable stay
Saverio and his family gave us the red carpet from the start. When we got there they made sure our luggage where taken up to the house and they welcomed us with numerous treats. We felt really spoiled. We highly recommend this place to anyone who plans to go to. the Almafi Coast. At first the stairs are a bit scary but it turned out to be great exercise and my wife elderly parents took them many times without complaints. We will definitely be back soon. Until then we sincerely thank Saverio and is family for this wonderful stay.

Amazing stay at Casa Saverio
The property is at a great location with outstanding views. It was one of the cleanest appartments we booked till today. You could not wish for more when it comes to the equipment of the appartment - from appliances to towels, spices, detergents etc. For welcome we got a home-made marmelade, home-baked crostata (both absolutely delicious), fruit basket and wine. Saverio is very helpful and prepared to help immediately if you need anything. The cars were parked in the garage which you will learn to appreciate if you visit Amalfi coast. Not to be too long, it is definitely worth staying in Casa Saverio. No regrets, only nice memories. Saverio, thank you and keep up the good work.

Traumhaft

Endless views.
Property was exactly as described. Perfectly clean and comfortable for two couples. 118 steps challenging but after a couple days seemed easier. Neighbors very helpful with luggage and advice.

We 3 couples just finished a great four days in Furore at Casa Saverio. We were welcomed by Saverio with a big smile, his mom's homemade peach pie and his dad's homemade red and white wine! The location made it easy to do day trips to Amalfi, Positano, Ravello and Capri Island. John and I loved driving the crazy, twisting, hair pin turns and blending in with the crazy but great Italian drivers on the roads. It was fun passing cars with a couple of inches to spare on both sides. Just loved the Amalfi Coast! Arriving and departure luggage handling was super easy with Saverio's homemade 'luggage lift!

Ahhhh--Furore!
Casa Saverio Holiday House is a dream apartment! The pictures just do not do it justice; it's much prettier than the pictures show! Saverio and family were OH SO HELPFUL...from bringing the luggage up from the parking garage, to making reservations at nearby restaurants, to arranging for a small repair job on our rental vehicle (oops), to providing milk for coffee/tea in the morning (we'd just arrived from the harrowing drive and the thought of having to go out to pick up for the morning was too much). All the little gifts of welcome were so appreciated: a bottle of his Dad's home-made red and white wines (yum), his Mom's apricot pie and jam (yummier), fresh fruits on the table. And we were welcome to pick fresh veggies from their vegetable garden (yummiest). All the little details were taken care of, including fans in the bathrooms, screens for the patios, an espresso machine, coffee maker, and kettle. And Saverio's Dad rescued us when we messed up on the bus back from Positano one day and came to pick us up. Such a sweet family, a beautiful apartment, and a stunning location! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and would stay again in a heartbeat!
Some tips for staying on the Amalfi Coast - IF you're driving, re-consider. CRAZY! If you're taking public transit, pay close attention to the details...Amalfi is the hub so you have to go there first to get elsewhere. It's totally doable but don't be in a rush to get anywhere because you just never know what's going to happen...it's nothing to wait for a bus for an hour, only to have it pass you by because it's jam-packed full. You're on vacation...chill! IF time is of the essence, then consider a driver as it may be worth the extra $ to get you there/back. AND definitely take a ferry ... not-to-be-missed as the views alone are incredible!
Thanks again Saverio and family. You were awesome!

Amazing Amalfi stay
My family of 6 adults stayed in Saverio’s wonderful villa overlooking the amalfi coast for 4 nights! We enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. The property is modern, clean and well furnished with a beautiful balcony. Saverio and his parents were so helpful to us during our stay! They provided us with fruits, homemade wine, and pie during our arrival. Saverio assisted in organizing a boat trip to Capri that was the highlight of the trip, he even drove the boat! His father even picked us up from the beach club, can’t say enough about their generosity! The property is located about a 2 minute walk from a great restaurant! We ate there every night and had some of the best meals of our lives! Definitely be prepared to walk many steps while staying on the amalfi coast and if you have a car make sure it’s small! Roads are tight and very winding however there is a bus service we utilized a few times. Staying in Furore was the highlight of our Italian vacation, it was difficult to leave but we can’t wait to come back! Thanks again Saverio! :)

Amazing place in an amazing town! If you are looking for a piece of heaven then this is the spot!
Severio and his family were simply incredible hosts! They greeted us with lovely homemade pie, wine, cherry preserves, and Prosecco. The apartment is gorgeous, it’s huge, very clean, with scenic views, and everything we could possibly need.
Severio also helped us charter a boat for the day which was one of the best parts of our entire Italian vacation. We also had a cooking class with Mama Christina... not influenced was dinner delightful, it was so educational!

Home away from home
A beautiful property and excellent hosts. The property exceeded my expectations by far. Excellent hosts so kind and helpful. Greeted us warmly, took us to market to get supplies and left us little treats including wine, fruit from their garden and a home cooked pie. The property is beautiful and everything worked very well. The property is suitable for two couples or a big family. 3 rooms, 3 bathrooms. It tranquil, a little remote but does get you away from the Amalfi hustle and bustle. There are a lot of stairs up to the property, so you have to be able to climb stairs. We loved our stay and would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Saverio's place. The place was spotless with all the facilities and the view is fantastic. Saverio and his family were very helpfull. From the beginning they did everything to make our stay memorable. We took a cooking lesson with his mom and it was a great experience.
Also he was a great guide during our stay. We highly recommend this place.

Absolutely recommend this place!!

Wow, this place is fabulous!
This is was our families last stop in a multi-city tour of Italy and was the perfect place to rest and relax. The house and the surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful and so peaceful and quiet, a nice way to balance the hustle and bustle of the big cities. Saverio is as good a host as you can ask for, went out of his way numerous times to assist us, and the recently remodeled house has every amenity you could want. Something to keep in mind is that the location is somewhat remote, which is not a problem if you have a car but if you don't, like us, it is a bit of a challenge to get to the house and then to get take a day trip to the coast.
There is only one restaurant (reservations required) within walking distance, however, the food there is outstanding and the view from the patio is breathtaking. Aside from that, you'll either need to stock up the kitchen to cook yourself or make your way into town.
This really is the perfect list too catch your breath, renew your energy, and relax . I could not recommend it more.

We loved our stay at Casa Saverio. It was very clean, very modern!
The family/owners are a delight. They go out of their way to help you in any way possible. We had a delicious pie and 2 types of wine waiting for us when we checked in. The view is amazing. The house is just as pictured. Thank you Humberto for driving us to Positano and for the church tour!!! ❤️❤️

WONDERFUL!! -- Stay here!!
10 Stars!!!! Saverio and his parents were the kindest, most hospitable hosts you would ever meet. When we arrived they were waiting with two bottles of homemade wine, Prosecco, a fresh pie, fresh jam, etc.. They went above and beyond to take car of us, so much so that they even gave us a ride two times so we didn't have t take the local bus! The house: CLEANEST rental house we have ever stayed in!! Everything is up to date, brand new and immaculate. The view -- CRAZY beautiful with a wonderful balcony! Trust me don't stay in expensive, crowded Positano, stay here with the locals. Right below the house is a wonderful bar for your morning cappuccino and pastry.
THANK YOU Saverio!! You and your family are very special and made our trip to the Amalfi coast amazing!

We would not change a thing about our time spent in Furore!!! Saverio and his lovely family made our trip so wonderful! The home is perfecto!! They have thought of everything. His mother Christine baked us a homemade pie, provided fresh fruit and vegetables from the beautiful gardens. Umberto the father is so helpful and kind. A true meaning of farm to table. We also highly recommend the cooking class. A wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture. This family is a class act- so loving and kind. The home is spotless and so well appointed....and the view....well enough said. We highly recommend this property and we will be back. I have stayed in many VRBO properties but this exceeded our expectations!

I don’t know what else Saverio and his family could have done to take better care of us! From welcoming us with salami and cheese and three bottles of wine to bringing us fresh fruit and vegetables from their garden. Saverio is extremely responsive to every request or question. Highly recommend the cooking class with his mother the chef! Wonderful food with a wonderful family! The property is beautiful and modern. The views are amazing! So quiet and beautiful! This is the easiest 5 star rating I have ever given! Thank you!

Casa Saverio is Like Visiting Paradise!
Staying at Casa Saverio, CS, was the highlight of our trip. The house is located in the town of Furore which is built on the side of a mountain on the Amalfi Coast. The views from CS are some of the most spectacular that you will ever see. Enjoy the sunrise as well as the sunset on the large wrap around balcony with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The home is well represented by the pictures on the website and most importantly are the amenities: kitchen has an extensive selection of cooking utensils and cookware, coffee pot, espresso maker, gas stove, oven, large refrigerator, dishwasher, glassware, plates, flatware etc…The kitchen is very modern and newly remodeled. There are three bedrooms (2 double and 1 with two single beds). The beds are very comfortable, firm and the linens are definitely good quality. The double bedrooms have their own bathroom with a powerful showers, lots of natural light, beautiful tile floor, modern fixtures and lots of clean and fresh towels, shampoo and body gel are available. There is also a laundry room with washer and plenty of soap. No dryer, but just hang the clothes on the clotheslines outside the you'll have great smelling clothes for the rest of the trip. CS also offers cooking lessons as they have Chef Cristina who is a fabulous cook. We couldn't resist the cooking lessons after tasting her delicious peach pie, meat and cheese tray, orange marmalade and welcoming snacks that were provided upon our arrival. Chef Cristina taught us how to make potato gnocchi, authentic Italian tomato sauce, lemon chicken cutlets and lemon cake with lemon cream center with merengue frosting. CS is surrounded by an organic garden and everything that is cooked by the family is fresh and tasty. Finally, Saverio (the owner) and his father were gracious to drive us to Positano and Amalfi during the days that we wanted to sightsee but not sure if this is available all the time. The transportation arrangements from Naples train station to CS were made by Saverio. This house is perfect for a family that is looking for a peaceful location but be aware that there is lots of walking to nearby markets and other attractions if you don;t have a car. The walking can be difficult from someone who is not active so please be prepared with good walking shoes. There is a great restaurant, Relish, just a few steps away from CS. The food is home made and the owner speaks English as does Saverio.

Great base to explore Amalfi Coast
My friends and I very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Saverio. Furore is a beautiful, quiet town from which to explore the Amalfi Coast. The flat was exactly as pictured -- modern and clean and had all the necessities. And there are several outdoor spaces to enjoy the amazing view. Saverio and his family were extremely accommodating. When we arrived, they had prosecco and a basket of homemade wine and goodies waiting for us. Plus, when the second car in our group (the one that had all the groceries) got lost and was late getting in, Saverio brought us a plate of prosciutto to tide us over. He also provided great suggestions for things to see and do in nearby towns and had great restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend Casa Saverio!
