Good area, nice hotel, it was strange to walk through the lobby and just be stared at by the employees, no greetings, nothing, same with the restaurants and cleaning people.

Great, but as newlyweds got pit on the 2nd floor and you could hwar a lot of street noise. Didn't bother me, but may bother others.

I’m still waiting for a response and refund. Dear Hotel,
I am writing to express my deep distress and disappointment regarding a serious incident that occurred during my stay at the Nattivo Collection Hotel. My reservation number is _____, and I checked in on August 5th and was supposed to stay until Friday. I traveled solo as I am a travel blogger and writer on the side and I am writing a piece on Colombia. Regretfully, I had to check out after only a few hours.
The night I checked in, I went to bed early as I wasn’t feeling well. In the middle of the night, I was abruptly awakened by someone entering my room unannounced. I screamed in fear, and thankfully, the safety latch on the door prevented them from fully entering. Without saying a word, the person quickly shut the door and left. This left me feeling extremely violated and unsafe, unable to sleep for the remainder of the night. By 4 am, I was forced to book an early return flight, cutting short the vacation I had planned due to the overwhelming fear of staying any longer.
The following morning, I reported this terrifying incident to the front desk staff. To my dismay, they did not initially show concern or offer any form of apology. It was only after I insisted that I felt unsafe and needed to leave immediately that they began to take my situation seriously. I was informed that I would be given a full refund and was advised to follow up with Expedia.
After further investigation, I was told that

We had an EXCELLENT stay at Nattivo, San Andres. While checking in, you're greeted with a coconut refresher( non alcoholic)&& genuine hospitality with a smile from the front desk! ILAN was an absolute GEM, & We can't thank him enough for all that he did to contribute to making our stay a pleasant one! The check-in process was smooth, and they were more than willing to accommodate our requests for a room with a view!! Located in "central" San Andres, just outside the front door are various convenient stores, shopping, restaurants, night life && of course the beach!!!! Breakfast is a complimentary buffet, with tons of options & again a staff ,on deck & ready to make sure you have everything you need!! Have a drink or grab a bite to eat, and enjoy the views of the island, from the rooftop! Our room was always clean & hospitality was just a phone call away if we needed anything! At the back/side entrance is a foot shower so that you don't bring the beach back to your room! Ilan escorted us to the showers , with towels to dry our feet! Can't say enough about ILAN! He's amazing, and we hope Nattivo appreciates him as much as we do!!
Book the trip, && stay at this outstanding location! We can't wait to go back!!!!

I liked the general cleanliness and customer service as well as professionalism of the front desk staff.
That said, I was extremely disappointed with nearly 2 hour wait to be served at a hotel sponsored dinner event which we were invited to. For the most part the staff at the 7th floor restaurant were cordial but I was not impressed at all with the customer service I got from the restaurant supervisor.
A case in point was when he gave my meal to one of his employees to pass on to me when he was less than 1 feet away. He could have delivered the meal himself and explained the long wait times but that did not happen.
Perhaps, some cultural sensitivity training may be appropriate here as we all know the hospitality industry requires all staff to be customer-oriented and cordial to all customers regardless of their racial or cultural background.

Great location with the beach right around the corner less than a 2min walk. Hotel has a neat theme and is really nice & clean. We enjoyed our room with an ocean view staff is friendly. rooftop pool has an awesome view of the ocean breakfast is solid but can get a bit repetitive we stayed there for 5 nights. During our stay, the Jacuzzis were not open yet or the gym There’s also three other restaurants that have yet to open since they’re all under construction. (We stayed mid may 2024) so if your staying soon just keep in mind the hotel is open but some amenities are still under construction. Overall wasn’t a big deal for us we had a great time would stay here again 👍

Definitely one of the best hotels in San Andres. It’s new, chic, and is truly luxurious compared with the other Colombian hotels we’ve stayed at. Loved the tub in my room and how most areas are air-conditioned. There is hot water, great dining, and a posh pool. I would definitely stay here again despite the thin walls/or open doors of my neighbors that were horrendously loud, fighting, screaming, yelling, for over 6 hours able I was trying to sleep. I didn’t pay $300 a night to be exposed to this type of irritating behavior.

Nattivo is a beautiful hotel. Room, common areas, and pool were very clean and we loved the decor/ambiance. Great location as well: close walking distance to beach, port, restaurants, etc. Only a five minute taxi ride from airport. Check-in was quick and easy. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They assisted us with taxi rides, beach towels, money exchange...they were even able to accommodate an early check-in for us as our flight arrived super early - thank you so much! The staff at the restaurant and pool were nonchalant. They would not approach us to offer anything unless we signaled them over. At the pool, we were completely ignored. Breakfast was good but needed more variety. The pool was really nice offering great views of the city and beach. A/C in the room was great, kept us nice and frosty from the heat. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, had lots of fun, and would recommend this hotel. Gracias Nattivo! Nos vemos pronto San Andres!

The location is excellent, the hotel is quite new and very clean, the breakfast was wonderful, there is a nice pool area. Excellent for families with children.
I gave less than perfect score because the room was very bare. Though the description mentions a chair, there was no chair and in general, there were no not enough places to place things. Basically, 2 beds a nightstand and a "desk" which is about 30 cm narrow. For example, no space to place wet towels, or clothes or some of the 14 (!)pillows in the room (each bed was equipped with 7 pillows). To sleep comfortably we do not need more than 2 pillows each. Where do you put the rest 10 pillows, except on the floor? We did not feel comfortable. We asked for a chair and one was promised at the reception but did not come the first and second day.
After complaining to hotel.com and the hotel management, 2 chairs were brought on the third daly of our stay.
Probably, because the hotel is not completely finished (they are working on the fitness room I believe), the furnishing of some rooms is not complete? They could also at least add a standing hanger to make it more comfortable.
Also, in our room 403 and therefore in 303, 203 and nearby, the view is of the wall of a building at 5meters away. If you want at lest some view, this is not for you.

The service staff should learn English. Besides that as claiming luxury hotel myself expectations are complementary water daily and bags for beach. This will gain customers experience and retention for sure.

If you stay at this hotel request a room above 3rd floor. Lower rooms have no view and a lot of street noise. The restaurant on the 7 floor has good food but very slow service, orders to your room can take over an hour to show up and drives at the pool can take 20 mins to come.

Restaurant staff is very slow we got the main dish in about one hour and salad takes one hour to put in the table they keep forgetting items we ordered and this happened every day .

What an amazing stay at Hotel Nattivo! The hotel is brand new and in excellent condition, and it is well decorated. The rooms are large, the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The shower is large enough for the whole family and the water pressure is great. The check-in was smooth; we appreciated the complimentary welcome drink and local delicacy they offered us. The staff is very attentive and always happy to help. The only suggestion would be to add more umbrellas in the pool area. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel! We are definitly coming back next time we go to San Andres.

We had a really bad stay here. The rooms on the 3rd floor suffer from a defect where wind blows in off the beach, and the windows don’t seal properly, which creates a very loud whistle noise at all hours of the night.
Because of this, we couldn’t sleep for the first two nights of our stay. When management did finally move us to a new room, they hardly acknowledged the fact the room had an issue and wouldn’t provide an adequate resolution. He basically gave us a couple free drinks for losing two nights of sleep.
Do not stay here, stay somewhere more established and with better customer service like the Aquamare instead. You could stay at a hostel and have a better nights sleep.

Hotel is very new, opened August 2023, and feels luxurious. Staff are friendly, rooms are nice and showers are big. The pool on the roof is excellent, not very big but comfortable and views of the beach.
The restaurant staff are a little slow and not always responsive and taxis can’t pull up to the front door. Not great if you have lots of luggage, kids or people with disabilities. Luckily it’s only a short walk but it’s something to keep in mind and the hotel should make this clear. It’s still under construction and some things are missing but you won’t notice them. Will be interesting to see what else they add once it’s competed.
Despite these small issues it’s a great hotel in a very central area. It could be cheaper, I don’t think it really warrants that price tag.

Our stay was great! We arrived a day early due some unexpected hiccups in our itinerary. The staff at Nattivo were able to add another night to our reservation at the rate we booked at no problem, even though we fully expected to need to find another hotel. The room was gorgeous. High end amenities, close to the beach and restaurants. The hotel is still being finished; the restaurants and spa are not done, but noise was minimal. We will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of being one of the first guests at this hotel. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly; the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location in the town is perfect, and the view from the rooftop pool is fabulous. Next time I am on San Andres, I am definitely staying at Nattivo again.
