Wonderful house for our family trip. My husband and I and our adult children and their significant others gathered to spend time together. This was a great place that gave each of us our own space as well as space to all gather together. It worked beautifully for all of us.

We stayed at Choyia’s place last summer for our Friend’s River Vacation and loved it so much! We met some awesome locals who told us about the public river access points around the area and that we should bring our kayaks/canoes and float on our own! We knew we had to come back and do just that. So we DID and it was wonderful! Below Choyia’s place is a public access point (walking distance) and we were able to float two days; Grandview bridge to Choyia’s Place (7.3 miles) and then Choyia’s place to the Romp Hole (4.9 miles)! It was a blast!! Choyia’s place is nestled in the perfect place for those ‘said’ river adventures! The house is always amazing and spacious with tons of activities inside! Deborah is also a lovely hostess with the mostest with snacks and drinks upon arrival and superb communication! We always feel right at home, safe, and relaxed!! Choyia’s Place is where it’s at!

We had so much fun staying here! We loved how secluded it was but close enough to run into town if we forgot something. I loved that we could just walk down to the river and the water was crystal clear. The views from the deck were spectacular. Would definitely recommend for a getaway.

The house is very spacious with lots of room to visit with others or enjoy some alone time in one of several of the tucked-away alcoves.
The kitchen is amply stocked with plenty of silverware and cooking gear.
The Kings River is within a few steps of the back yard, but no fish were caught...:(
The only drawback was the slow internet connection; it was slower than dial-up and couldn't accommodate all of the iPads, iPhones, and TV's in use. There are other service providers, such as StarLink, that should be able to improve the performance.
All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay, and we all would highly recommend Choyia's Place to others.

This property is amazing!! It’s huge, fun, eclectic and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We had a wedding party stay at the house and hosted two parties at the house, a wedding rehearsal dinner and wedding after party.
The host Debbie for this property is a wonderful lady who communicated with us perfectly, quickly and made our stay extra special with all the wonderful added items like coffee, fruit, bread and chocolate!! We will for sure be back!!!!

Every year we take all the grown children and grands on a trip for Christmas. The house was beautifully decorated and room for all of us. Plenty of towels, snacks, kitchen has everything you need, games and a peaceful, gorgeous setting by the river.

Perfect for small team retreat! Lots of room, beds, and sitting areas. Interesting history and items in the house. Great areas to walk and enjoy the beautiful outdoors and river. The balcony river views are great! Love that everything is labeled and taken care of! Of course the hot tub and game room are perfect for evening leisure time. I highly recommend this place for small teams or top executives to get away to for clear thinking and rejuvenation! Thank you Debbie for being a great host; very helpful and communicative!

The property was amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice.The host thought of everything. Her communication was fantastic. The house was beautiful and had tons of extras! The sodas, fruit and snacks were a wonderful surprise. Highly recommend this property.

Our first friends-cation was wonderful! We had 3 families and 2 more individuals stay in the house (total of 15) and we were SO comfortable. The house was HUGE and was the perfect house for kids to play hide-and-seek! The kitchen was very spacious and has everything you need. The beds were divine,..everyone complimented on how heavenly they slept. So many nooks and crannies to just relax and unplug! The Kings River (walking distance) was fabulous and a perfect spot to swim and float! We are already planning our next trip to return to the property next summer!! Love, love, love this property!

This home was amazing! The pictures didn't do it justice. The location was wonderful, peaceful and quite. The outside landscaping of the yard was just as nice as the inside of the home. I loved the history of the couple that had owned this home. The decor was gorgeous, the hot tub was wonderful. I could go on and on...
The host was wonderful, enjoyed chatting. Also loved the snacks that was left for us. Everything you needed was at this home. Will DEFINITELY stay again.
