Where do I even start with how GREAT this rental was. Everything from start to finish was exceptional. When we arrived, getting into the house was no issue at all. It was exactly per the instructions we received for check in. We walked into the IMMACULATELY clean house and couldn't believe it. I mean, not a spot of dirt to be seen. We arrived later in the evening so explored the house and then went to bed in extremely comfortable beds. So comfortable that we looked at the mattress type to replace our own at home. The view from the master bedroom cannot be beat, we opened the sliding door and closed the screen door and listened to all of the sounds of the peaceful location and enjoyed watching the boats float around. We came with our 6-year-old and 12-year-old and when I say they sprinted out of bed, directly to the dock to fish, I don't even know if they said good morning. They spent so much time on the dock and then in the kayaks and paddleboard. The home also had everything you needed - outdoor grill, outdoor firepit, coffee pot, big fridge, plenty of pantry space for snacks, all dishes we needed. There was not one time where I wished "oh shoot, I wish they had...xyz." I would rent this house over and over again. The location was peaceful, the home was so clean, I felt so relaxed the entire time. And it was so close to Annapolis that we were able to pop over and check that out when we were ready.

Well appointed and comfortable. Beautiful sunset views and calm water for kayaking. Target, Wegmans, and many restaurants within 20 mins. Bring firestarter, a lighter and extra wood for the fire pit.

Can’t say enough about the property. Great house and great location. Neighbor putting there dog outside for 2-3 hours (7-10) each night was horrible. When I say continuous barking I mean continuous barking. Otherwise no doubt 5 Stars. Was more sensitive to it as I rented the home for my wife to have a tranquil quiet location to recuperate from a 2 day medical procedure. Luckily the dog came in each night around 10 so sleep was not disturbed. Beautiful spot!

We loved stayed at the "red house". Being a step away from the water is both relaxing and so much fun because of all the activities you can do. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding with our 5&7 year old boys with the provided gear and fishing as well with the gear we brought. The master bedroom faces west, so we got to watch the beautiful sunsets. Herald Harbor is a wonderful neighborhood for walking around, beach access, a park and playground and more. Definitely recommended this spot for a stay in the Annapolis area.

We loved the charming house with beautiful water views. We used the fire pit, kayaks, and paddle boards.

We can't stop talking about how much we loved our stay at Valentine Creek Retreat. House was clean, well stocked and nice decor. We were able to dock our boat at the pier, which was a first for us. It was so nice that the kayaks and paddle board were provided at no cost. We fished, boated over to the sandbar near by and swam. Kids loved the kayaks and the river is nice and calm. Big plus on the 4th of July was seeing the fireworks while sitting on the deck. We will definitely be back.
