The place far exceeded our expectations for our weekend ski trip. There was plenty of room for me and my two adult children to have our own space, and a full kitchen to cook all weekend. It was just a short drive to Beech Mountain, close enough for us to drive back for lunch each day and return to the slopes right after.

The location

The activity was not open because the pool heater was broken. This was no fault of the owner, though, and she most graciously gave us a later checkout to make up for the center being closed.

It is a very nice apartment, very beautiful. It has everything you would need. Close to anything you would want to do on Beech Mountain.

It kind of had an odor. Like all the windows needed to be opened and it aired out. Also, it didn't have air conditioning other than a portable one in the bedroom. You can open windows, but they are located where the foot traffic comes through, and you can't really open the blind to get fresh air because people can look in.

Beautiful property. Fully stocked Kitchen. Host was accommodating in letting us check in early. Comfortable beds. Was totally happy with the property
