The location was fine enough, considering that it was in Nyali, so it was to a lot of restaurants. However there was no beach view whatsoever contrarily to what was advertised.

The shower and the sink did not work. When we first asked repeatedly the staff they did not respond at first, and we had to insist for them to find us a solution. At the end they promised to fix it within the day, which was not done. Ultimately their only solution was to use to a shared bathroom (knowing that we decided to pay for a more expensive option there to avoid sharing a bathroom). Moreover, there was no hot water, which they only admitted at the end, as this accommodation does not have hot water whatsoever. Moreover, our room had a hole in the wall, which led outside. We were concerned about it given the presence of insects especially mosquitoes. This was aggravated by the fact that the mosquito net on the bed had holes and did not fully cover the bed. While the room was clean enough, there was an ambient smell of humidity. The staff overall was rude, and condescending towards us when we brought up issues. Especially with the shower and sink, but also when we could not figure out how to work the flush in the toilets (which was pretty dysfunctional). Finally, when we arrived to the accommodation, we were expecting to pay a certain sum based on our booking confirmation. The staff however asked us for a fee (which did not appear on our confirmation email, it’s only when she pointed to it, that we saw it on the website discretely indicated). The total amount that she asked amounted to close to twice the initial price. Had we known about this price we could have easily found a better accommodation, with a better location and running water.
