gorgeous and quiet! very simple, no cheesy resort frills, no pool, just ocean and relaxation. great bed and the waterfront location was perfect.

4/22/23 - This was our first experience at Condumel, and we were very impressed. The condo is located about 30 minutes walking distance from the ferry, without luggage. So, depending on your haggling skills, about $100-$150 pesos or $5-$8 American cab fare...(not bad). The entire facility is dated; however, I love it just for that reason. Beautiful architecturally, which kind of gave us the Mayan vibe here! It has a full kitchen with basic amenities including juice, milk, water, eggs and beer, all stocked and for purchase at a more than affordable price. It's not even worth buying at the OXO or Cendrali for beer or juices. We had condo 6 and couldn't have asked for more! Breathtaking views from our huge balcony with sounds of ocean water splashing off the rocks. Amazing snorkeling is located right off of the beach! 😍 The staff... we loved everyone! It's no wonder why there were so many repeat visitors to this spot. We're so happy we visited Condumel and we'll definitely be back! 👏 ¡Muchas graciac!

The private (although mentioned it is not technically private - it pretty much was) beach was the BEST! jumping off the rocks into the ocean was such a great way to start and spend the day. snorkeling equipment was provided and we saw tons of fish stingray eel and coral! The location was perfect - we rented bikes in town for our stay and it was ~5 min ride in or ~15 min walk. the staff was so awesome. there was a guy raking the sand every morning and picking up twigs and sweeping off the chairs. we were allowed a late check out due to our flight time and everyone was so accommodating. the rooms were sparkling clean. truly amazing stay. we LOVED it and honestly would not stay anywhere else in Cozumel!

everything was GREAT!!!! just of note it’s not like a ritz here with brand new appliances etc - it’s like a nice home away from home - cozy and nice

Amazing view on the ocean from all the apartment - from the living room as well as right from the bed! We were right at the ground floor, so you're literally just a few steps away from the ocean. Bill, the owner of the condo, as well as the Manager were very kind and helpful with all kinds of questions, and they really give the place a personal touch. The condo is clean, and overall just a wonderful place to wind down and enjoy nature. And if you'd like to explore a bit more, the city is in walking distance where you can also rent a car to get around the island. Definitely recommend!

Clara was above and beyond a fantastic host she greeted us when we came by cab she even helped us take our luggage to the room she showed us everything we need and explained it all and made sure that everything was taken care of and we were on vacation not to lift a finger The location was great close enough to walk to restaurants and then into town the snorkeling in front of the condo was fantastic seconds away from your door beautiful view beautiful sunsets And Clara was fantastic

Our apartment was clean and maintained clean throughout our stay. The staff was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The view from the room was amazing. The location was ideal. A 20 min walk to the downtown area or a 5min cab ride. The area was quiet and we always felt safe even at night. There was always someone securing the grounds. Everything was perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone and would definitely return.

The photos don’t do it justice! We stayed here based on the great reviews & we were not disappointed! Its character filled & we loved the whole atmosphere of Condumel. Absolute waterfront, spectacular views from every room. Beautiful sunsets! We loved the privacy, it was so quiet & intimate. We saw one other couple during the whole time of our stay. It is not walking distance to town, but very close by car, 5min drive. We loved just being out of the hustle & bustle. The full kitchen was also a bonus. There are some eateries that are an easy 10min walk, on the waterfront.

The shower wasn’t really hot & the water pressure wasn’t great. It is not a beach with sand, which you can clearly see from the photos, it’s open sea. That did not spoil it for us, the man made beach area with chairs is so lovely & well maintained. Worth mentioning, the door locks aren’t great, as well as window locks. The windows did rattle in strong wind, as they are older. PLEASE NOTE WE FELT COMPLETELY SAFE AT ALL TIMES, there was a security guard on premises all the time.
