BE AWARE! WE NEVER STAYED AT Escape to Raleigh Ave Glamour - Steps to the Beach apartment even though we paid $774.87. We were told that the water heat broke Thursday night and the owners didn't let us know until 2:30 while we're on our way there. Thinking back, I wish they would've told us so we could've canceled the trip. But I guess that's why they didn't let us know ahead of time, because they wanted to keep the money. The only option we got on Friday by a couple of people who I spoke on the phone was three bedroom apartments. No one told us that we could've canceled this trip and get the money back on Friday before we enter the apartment they suggested. They put us in a 3 bedroom apartment (mind you the apartment that we payed had four bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and steps to the beach which was another reason we paid extra) far from the beach and the nightly rate was $100 plus tax in the Booking.com. The name of the apartment where we had no other options but to stay is called:Superhero Hideout DC Comics located at -516 Grammercy Place, Atlantic City, 08401. We went to this apartment and we were all shocked. The pictures on Booking.com were not what we actually saw in this place. DON'T BE DECEIVED! There were dirty pillows, broken window blinds, scraped and dirty walls everywhere. There's only a small couch only for 3 people in the living room with very old and dirty decorative pillows. Not sure how this place would fit 10 people like the owner had stated in the website. SLEEPING in those beds was another horrible story. Even if we turned, there was this screeching noise from each room. Also the location is super noisy with cars and motorcycles. The emotion distress is very high with this traumatic experience!
