We had a fabulous vacation stay at Southern Star. The house is well equipped and the beds were comfortable. There are beach towels and four beach chairs and three boogie boards for the kids. We had our entire family there, which consisted of 8 adults and three children. We traveled from Atlanta, Tallahassee, and Richmond Hill, Ga. We've been going to St. George Island as a family for over 20 years. We've stayed in the Plantations and the center of the island, but this is the first time we've stayed at the East End. We totally enjoyed it and would recommend Southern Star and the Sunset Beach houses to others.

We had an amazing time. Accommodations were just what a party of 12 needed. Kitchen, well equipped with bonus ice machine. Beautiful decor throughout and functional. Beds were very comfortable. Location and view was amazing. Ease of making reservations was superior.

We have been to SGI every year since 1980 and have stayed all over the island! This house in this location was absolutely perfection and Gulf Coast was amazing to deal with!
