Wished we stayed longer, there was soo much to see and do at this property, was like a mini museum, was so much fun looking back in time but all the luxuries of modern luxeries. Would def come again and highly recommend. Especially for a special occasion.

Nothing wrong, liked everything about this property.

This little cottage is the cutest and most quirky place we have stayed. The facilities were extremely clean, beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the endless array of trinkets a feast for the senses.

Having everything that we needed when we arrived especially having milk in the fridge, bread for our use and all the additional things. There were many surprises once entering the cottage.

Only thing I was unaware of was there was no covered parking on the property it was outside and if its a busy night at the pub across the road is difficult to get a park, we were fortunate enough to park at the library tourist information centre until morning.

Such a beautiful property! The owners have really thought about everything to make it such a relaxing and homey stay! Cannot wait to return!

The history of the home, the gardens,its was just delightful.

Das Ferienhaus war das schönste, in dem ich jemals Urlaub gemacht habe. Die Ausstattung hatte alles was man brauchen könnte, eine super Küche mit großem Gasherd und zwei Backöfen, riesigem Kühlschrank, und zur Begrüßung gab es frisches Brot, Butter und ein paar Beläge. Das Haus hat zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder, eins davon "en suite" zu einem der Schlafzimmer. Es gibt einen separaten Waschraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner, die gut funktioniert haben. Und ihm großen Garten / Aussenbereich gibt es mehrere Grillmöglichkeiten, auch noch einen Kühlschrank, und sogar ein Fitness Fahrrad. Soweit das Praktische - was aber schwer zu Beschreiben ist und was man erlebt haben muss, ist die unglaublich liebevolle Dekoration, in und um das Haus, mit kleinen Kunstwerken, Bildern mit Regionalbezug, aber auch ganz vielen Kleinigkeiten, die es eine große Freude macht zu entdecken.

Absolut nicht in der Verantwortung der Vermieter, hatten wir wegen einem Sturm am Tag vor der Anreise, für einen Tag mit Stromausfall zu leben. Die Vermieter haben uns darüber sehr gut vorab informiert, und haben uns Taschenlampen und ausreichend Batterien zur Verfügung gestellt, damit wir zurecht kommen. Wasser, auch warm, und der Gasherd, haben weiter funktioniert, so daß wir es als Abenteuer Urlaub verbuchen konnten. Ansonsten gab es überhaupt nichts auszusetzen.

What a beautiful cottage. The hosts have put so much thought into the guests stay with many little touches. Fresh sourdough loaf waiting with real butter :), plenty of choices for tea and coffee(fancy coffee maker), and some snacks for a weary traveller. There was everything you needed in the kitchen to get you started (milk, oil, sauces, spices, S/P). The cottage was exceptionally clean and well thought out. Bathrooms included toiletries and even a make-up removal 'specific' towel/washer. The bath in the main bathroom was very much appreciated by fellow traveller after a long bush walk, suds were supplied. Beautiful wood heater and wood supplied for your first nights stay included. Very comfortable beds. The furnishings were just amazing and everywhere you looked there was another story or trinket that caught your attention. The gardens looked amazing and the history about the cottage that was provided was a wonderful read. Would definitely stay again but for longer next time. Ill be telling everyone I meet about the Rustic Cottage Canungra.

Unfortunately my commitments meant I had to leave without getting to fully appreciate all the work the hosts have put in to this place.
