Comfortable & clean

Location is excellent, quiet road and beautiful sea view. To be honest I prefer creamy scrambled eggs, not as dry - but that is nitpicking!

It was as expected, nothing I didn’t like, but only there for one night.

Die Wohnung war gut gereinigt und bis auf das Wohnzimmer komfortabel und gut eingerichtet. Der private Außenbereich war deutlich privat gekennzeichnet. Die Lage ist klasse. Es gab einen reservierten Parkplatz. WLAN funktionierte gut. Mir war nicht klar, dass es nicht die Möglichkeit gab, Frühstück dazu zu buchen. Es sollte deutlicher gemacht werden, dass das Apartment völlig separat vom B&B ist und dessen Service nicht genutzt werden kann.

Am Abend vor der Anreise erhielten wir Anweisungen zum self check-in samt Schlüsselcode. 1/2 Stunde nach unserer Ankunft klopfte es dann. Ein anderer Gast wollte in die Wohnung, sie hatte exakt die gleiche Nachricht erhalten samt Schlüsselcode. Nach einigem hin und her rief sie bei der Unterkunft an. Es erschien ein junger Mann. Er sagte nicht guten Tag und ignorierte mich komplett. Zu der anderen Frau sagte er sehr kurz angebunden, sie sei im B&B und sie hätten ihr die falsche Nachricht geschickt. Nicht auszudenken, wäre diese Dame vor uns eingetroffen! Aber es gab nicht mal ein einziges "sorry" Das war meine EINZIGE Begegnung mit dem Personal. Keine Begrüßung und null Kontakt. In den 12 Tagen Aufenthalt wurde nicht gereinigt, es gab keinen Handtuchwechsel. Wir hätten dann gern mal selbst gesaugt oder gefegt, aber es gab keinen Sauger/Besen. Das Wohnzimmer hatte ein kleines 2er Sofa und 2 sperrmüllreife Stühle, dabei wäre Platz für ein großes oder 2 kleine Sofas. Wir fanden das sehr unbequem. Die Handtücher haben wir dann eben selbst alle paar Tage gewaschen, eine Waschmaschine/Trockner war ja da. Mein Fazit ist, dass man offensichtlich überhaupt nicht auf Gäste eingestellt ist, die länger als 2-3 Nächte bleiben.

Fabulous location, quiet, by the SW coast path, with great sea views from room and dining room. Handy both for Lynton centre and the walk along the coast. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff.

Few tiny things normally provided missing here such as bottled water and tissues in the room. Not a big issue but for luxury prices you expect attention to detail.

Clean, bright and beautiful view over the sea. Perfect for walking the South West Coast Path or exploring Exmoor and North Devon. Great breakfast. Really friendly owners.

Absolutely stunning view from the room, combined with the facilities you need for a happy stay. The owners are very attentive to any of your needs, and the breakfast was really lovely. Such thoughtful touches like decorations in the room for our anniversary and also really good communication.

THE VIEW!!!!!! I could live with a view like that every day. The owners were so lovely too. The hotel had a comfy, modern, beach theme. Just perfect and we wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The location was amazing. Just outside of the Town centre. The sea view was glorious to wake up to in the morning The room was comfortable and the space was clean Bed was dreamy and we slept soundly The breakfast was delicious and more than enough to keep us full till mid afternoon The hosts were delightful and very helpful
