De locatie is echt top! Hoger gelegen dan het stadje Theth waar je een mooi overzicht krijgt over de bergen. Het gezin was enorm vriendelijk en heel chill.

Ontbijt kon iets uitgebreider, ook bescherming tegen het eten zou helpen. Er waren nogal veel wespen op de confituur. Een kleine tip aan de gasten: een klein stoeltje zou handig zijn in de kamer om wat extra spullen op te leggen.

They need to add a table to the room...there is plenty of space, don't play the same song over and over again in the restaurant and turn the volume down. It would be nice if they would add yogurt to the breakfast.

Se andate a Theth è questo il posto che dovete scegliere per il vostro soggiorno. Un panorama che lascia senza parole (siamo state ore a contemplarlo nonostante le temperature - in più c'era la neve!). La struttura è recente, offre tutto quello di cui si ha bisogno in un posto del genere: pace, meraviglia e uno stile delle camere tipicamente montano. Ma la vera perla di questo posto è il suo proprietario: una gentilezza che non pensavamo di poter trovare in viaggio, in un Paese diverso dal nostro, in un periodo per niente turistico. Ci ha fatto sentire praticamente in famiglia, facendoci vivere un'esperienza che ha superato di gran lunga ogni nostra aspettativa e non c'è dubbio che torneremo d'estate, per immergerci ancora di più in questo villaggio unico nel suo genere.

Als je lopend na de hike die kant op moet, is het wel een tegenvaller

It is a very nice and relaxing place to stop and spend overnight. The people are very kind and the view of the mountains from the restaurant and yard is amazing.

The location is a bit too far from the center. If you don’t have a car you will have to walk nearly 40 mins uphill from the center to reach the location. If you have a car there is no issue at all!

Beautiful location and nice people. My sense is Theth may not really have “a town.” Probably the closest thing is the area around the pizza place. This guesthouse felt a bit remote since I didn’t have a car (as I walked from Valbona). It was about a 40 min walk from the end of the hike to the guest house — or at least that is what it was supposed to be per Google maps — an Albanian man picked me up midway through my walk. If you’re on foot may be better to try somewhere else as the other hikes/ the church are about 30 min away by foot.

We really liked to stay here after our hike from Valbone to Teth. But keep in mind that this guesthouse is another 2,5 km up the mountain from the market in the valley. The family who host this guesthouse are fantastic. The kids speak English and like to help you (and their parents). The room is basic but beautiful with a clean bathroom (no shower curtain though). They provide dinner and breakfast on their sunny terras.
