This property was 10 stars. The property manager was very attentive to any questions we had before hand and while we were there. When we arrived my son-in-law said, "wow, this is an amazing property and so clean." I agree it was a well put together property. They had everything you would need for a beach location and it wasn't all worn out like some rentals I've stayed in. They have tvs in all rooms, DVDs of all kinds, games galore, beach chairs, wagons, playpens, all appliances your want, nice beach towels, soft clean bedding, comfortable beds, and parking was covered and gated. There were lots restaurants just 2 blocks away. The movie theater, train station, pier and the beach were just as close. I recommend anyone who wants a clean, fun location to stay here. We had 5 people in our party and we all loved staying here. It was very clean, close to the beach and many places to eat and was fun to walk around the neighborhood. The decor is great! The manager was very responsive and the condo had everything we needed. We really loved staying here and would definitely come back!

This little gem has all the things you need for a quiet stay in Oceanside and walking distance to all the things!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. The location was great, our first evening we walked to a cute taco joint, then on to watch the sunset off the pier. It is a short drive to the tide pools in Carlsbad, Legoland. My kids enjoyed the waves, a short walk from the place (who am I kidding, even I was out boogeyboarding in the cold March Pacific water!). The unit has everything you need to cook in; lots of games for foggy mornings, or nights when you just need a night in. My family enjoyed spreading out in the spacious condo. We also took the drive to La Jolla to see seal cove and the tide pools down there. Marina (the host) was easy to work with and super accommodating, we didn’t have any issues, but she offered to address any if we had. Thanks for a wonderful stay, my husband said it was a perfect retreat!

House was.clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay, the beach items were a plus and made our day at the beach great. Location was awesome, short walks to the beach, shopping, and dining. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

We loved everything about our stay here. Plenty of room for our large family. The kids loved that we could walk to the beach and breakfast every morning. Highly recommend the Pannikin Coffee & Tea that is a block away. We spent lots of time at the beach and pier and Tom and Marina had everything we needed to play there, from sand toys and boogie boards to a wagon to bring it all down. Would definitely stay again!

This was a fantastic location, parking in gated lot, very safe area, easy walk to dining, drinks and the beach. Condo was VERY well equipped, literally everything we needed and more.

Our family went on a chartered boat trip to fish. This cozy beach condo had all of the amenities we needed for our weekend of fun! This property is within walking distance to downtown Oceanside. The property owner was very communicative and made check in and check out simple. One of our family members is already planning her return trip to stay in the condo again.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at Silver Surfer Gardens. The rooms were super clean and the l location was wonderful. I would highly recommend this location to anyone with a large family that is looking for a comfortable place to stay in Oceanside that is very close to the beach.

The unit is great - clean and updated. The overall property building is ok - it does need a little updating, but that didn't cause any problems. We had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. There was a snafu with the codes to get into the unit and property, but the property manager was very responsive and helped get us in. The first evening we noticed water on the kitchen floor, and after investigating, realized there was a significant leak under the kitchen sink. We turned off the water in the kitchen, removed the contents under the sink, sopped up the water and put a fan toward the cabinet to let it dry out for a day and a half. This made the kitchen feel unusable, as it took a full day and a half for a plumber to repair the sink, and then the fix had to sit for another day. It was very nice that the property manager sent us $50 for breakfast, but I was a little bit expecting more compensation for the initiative to investigate and stop the damage from the kitchen leak that could potentially have soaked to the lower unit, and that we really couldn't use the kitchen for 2 days. We were super grateful that there were wagons, beach chairs, sand toys and umbrellas for us to use. I didn't notice this on the VRBO ad, so it was a very nice surprise. Overall, we recommend!

Great place to stay!

This was a great property. The location is a short walk to the beach, the home was clean and well-equipped for our family with a 1- and 3-year-old. Large gated parking spot was a nice plus. Close to downtown with restaurants and shops, but still a quiet street. Super easy check-in and check-out, great communication from host. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our time in Oceanside.

The property was perfect for myself and two teenage daughters. The layout of the condo was great and the kitchen had everything we needed. We have stayed at multiple locations in Oceanside, and we preferred this location the most.

We had a great stay here and would definitely stay again. The condo exactly as presented online, clean, spacious and within walking distance of the Oceanside Pier and beach. The kitchen contained everything we needed and the communication with the property manager was excellent. We loved our stay here!

Great unit, well appointed with Cindy beds and amenities. Small details were lacking - clocks not properly set for daylight savings, manager responded to some but not all of my communications, and the noise from outside/upstairs was very loud. The air/heat was also programmed to a pattern that made it stiflingly hot to where we had to adjust it in the middle of the night.

We had an amazing stay. Walking distance to the beach, great house, best stalked rental I have seen, owners where extremely responsive.

The place is stocked with everything you need for the beach! Walking distance to tons of restaurants, pier or just playing in the sand. Neighborhood is very quiet. Parking is very spacious I have a Nissan Armanda and we fit perfect. Washer and dryer in unit was a huge plus!! Also fans and a/c was amazing!! My daughter was so in love with the reading nook! The condo was very spacious too!! Highly recommended staying here!

This condo was great and had everything we needed, including lots of beach gear/toys and wagons. The complex is a bit dated, but the unit was in great repair and many things (floor, fans, etc) have been updated.

We traveled to San Diego for a funeral. The accommodations were perfect and clean. Everything looked just like the pictures and the host made everything easy and accessible. We enjoyed our stay.
