This apartment was excellent. Great location, well appointed, very easy to work with management, and it gave us a true Amsterdam feeling for the few days we were there. Can't recommend it enough.

A very nice, comfortable apartment in an absolutely perfect location. We were able to walk everywhere and the neighborhood has endless restaurants, cafes, and bars.

This place was much bigger than expected! The living room was perfect to unwind in, with great views of the canal. Very comfy beds, blackout curtains. Jesse was super accommodating with getting my checked in.

The apartment was PERFECT. The location, to the interior, to the beds, everything. The stay was all we wanted and more. Easy to get around by foot, or Uber. The sunsets out the window are not for the faint of heart, so be warned not to miss those.

I am beyond grateful for this stay! We stayed here as a family of 3 (two adults, 1 teen) for a long weekend getaway. I could not have picked a better option! The home is as described and very clean and comfortable. You enter up 3 flights of modern, comfortable stairs into a small vestibule shared with the hosts. From there, you enter through a locked door into a private hallway. Take the hallway to the right to find a large, comfortable bedroom and a clean and functional bathroom with laundry. Take the hallway to the left and there is an open concept kitchen, dining and living room. The living area has gorgeous views of the Canal and neighborhood. A highlight of our stay was napping on the couch with the window open listening to the sounds of the city below. From the apartment, it is easy to walk to attractions, cute neighborhood shops, restaurants and bars, and public transit. The location is equal parts charming and convenient. The hosts went above and beyond for us. A member of our family had a medical emergency during the stay and they were responsive, caring, and allowed us extra time in the apartment to figure out next steps. We were also so grateful for the laundry facilities in this situation, as our stay was extended due to the emergency and clean clothing was one less logistical detail we needed to sort out. We had a great time, and though several minor issues came up during our stay, they were addressed quickly, and communication was excellent. It is a top floor, with no elevator, which might be a concern for some, but Mike was very helpful. I would recommend.

The apartment is located in an excellent position to access all the main sights including Anne Frank's House, Rembrandt's House, Dam Square, etc. and close to centraal staion for easy travel to other parts of the Netherlands and Schipol Airport. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with excellent facilities and a wonderful view over the canals. I thoroughly recommend the apartment and the host, Jesse, who was very helpful throughout our stay.

This place is beautiful. Very comfortable. Location is convenient, we walked with our suitcases to & from the Amsterdam Central Station. Beautiful views from the window along the canal. The property manager was very knowledgeable about the area and gave great recommendations for restaurants and grocery store, etc. Note: Bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Jesse was a wonderful host from our initial inquiry and through our stay! He was quick to respond to any questions prior to our arrival. The apartment is in a great location with lots of restaurants and shops close by. It's very centrally located, but not in a loud, touristy neighborhood. Perfect spot. It was fun to sit by the window and watch the variety of boats pass by on the canal. It is very spacious, clean and has all the amenities for a relaxing vacation!

Well-appointed private apartment exactly as advertised. Everything was very clean and also updated. We stayed for 7 nights in VERY comfortable beds. We Googled instructions for the washing machine and host provided excellent drying rack. Location was not only picturesque but also only 2 blocks from public transportation and 5 min from Central Station. Multiple flights of stairs were doable. Would stay there again in a minute!

The location of this property was perfect for all the attractions that were accessible and nearby. The size was wonderful and spacious. We were right no the intersections of two canals and had a perfect birds eye view of all the King's Night(April 25th) and King's Day (April 26th) including the boat parade. It was noisy which was fine as the bedrooms are in the back of the building so our sleep was not disturbed. A lovely neighborhood place. And a great end to our river cruise and trip.

Such a fantastic stay! We traveled to Amsterdam with our family (2 adults and 2 children, ages 6 and 8). Location was perfect - walking distance to grocery stores, cheese stores, canal cruise locations, the Anne Frank house, cute pubs/cafes, etc. Very close and easy access to Central Station, too! Try Oma's fries around the corner - they're great! Jesse is a great host and is very easy to communicate with. Apartment is up some stairs but we found the stairwell to be wide and easy to navigate. Kitchen was great to have, as was the washing machine in the bathroom. We brought a travel/camping clothesline to dry our clothes after washing and that came in handy. Great location. Convenient to train station. Grocery stores, and restaurants. Jesse was easy to communicate with. The bed was particularly comfortable. We loved the canal view from the third floor window.

We had a wonderful experience in Amsterdam. Jesse was always so quick to respond to questions we had before arrival, and was there to help us carry our bags up to the apartment when we arrived. As a family of 4 with small kids unable to carry their own suitcases up the stairs, this was so helpful!

We were delighted with Jesse, who graciously helped novice travelers with every need. The location of this apartment is fantastic - easy walk from the train and in the heart of a vibrant part of the city. The place is nicely furnished and well stocked. Our first day in the city we ended up back on the apartment as the sunset and could not get over how beautiful it was - this became a ritual break up our day event. A glass to watch the sun go down - perfect!

The apartment overlooks a canal with beautiful views. The apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The host was available, helpful and pleasant. The neighbourhood is very walkable with supermarkets, restaurants, pubs minutes away by foot. We stayed for 11 nights and throughly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend this rental.

This spacious apartment is situated in a great location with a beautiful canal view. I stayed for a full week with my two children (ages 12 & 16) and we all loved it. We felt comfortable and safe. The apartment is within walking distance to the train station, good restaurants, shops, grocery stores and the farmer’s market. We felt immersed in the neighbourhood staying here. The host was responsive and friendly. Jesse replied promptly to questions I had about the rental prior to our trip and after we arrived. Check-in was straightforward. I would return to this rental again and I highly recommend it to other travellers.

We just had a 4-night stay at this charming apartment. We were able to walk to most locations, and the Amsterdam Centraal train station is about a 13-minute walk. We had a blast exploring Amsterdam - it's a friendly city - some people actually say hi to you when walking by! The shops, restaurants and site-seeing are all extraordinary. Take property owner Jesse's advice on restaurants, and plan on saving room for the desserts!

This spacious, comfortable apartment is in the perfect location with a great canal view. Jesse was very gracious as a host and we appreciate him. If you have any mobility issues, note there are quite a few stairs. The location is great with local shops and restaurants, Anne Frank House, farmer's market and much more. Pretty much everything is within walking distance, including central train station. The apartment is charming but there are a couple of things to be aware of and plan for. There were not soaps or shampoos, conditioner in the bathroom. We were able to buy some at the store around the corner. The towels were not in greatest shape and not enough for three people, so plan ahead. There was plenty of coffee, which we certainly appreciated. The bed was comfortable and overall a fantastic accommodation.

What a great place. Fully furnished, easy access to various restaurants and bars. The place was clean, comfortable and quiet. Jesse is a great just. Easy to communicate with.

Host was wonderful, and readily available if something came up. On third floor overlooking a beautiful canal street, 15-20 minute walk to museums, an insane cheese shop across the street. We loved it and would definitely return.

The accommodation was spacious but chopped up. There wasn’t any soap or shampoo so be prepared. The furnishing were quite cheap. The bed and linens were horrible. Jesse and partner were quite nice and responsive.

This listing is very misleading. It says you share a hallway (which a “hallway” can mean multiple things), but nowhere in the listing does is say you share a front door & common space. For clarification: the host enters your front door of your apartment that you booked & turns to go up their stairs to their space, so they have access to everything you rented. Therefore, if you’re walking from the your bathroom to your bedroom, the host(s) could be walking down their stairs and see you. He even told us, “I’m sure we’ll see you later”. THAT MEANS THIS APARTMENT IS NOT PRIVATE, which is directly against VRBO’s guidelines. My husband and I did NOT even stay at this NON-private apartment, so we contacted VRBO (multiple times) explaining we were not comfortable. One VRBO agent basically said it was up to the host to give us a refund; another VRBO agent said they were going to investigate the situation. We ended up contacting the host; we were very nice, apologetic about any inconveniences, & told the host how we felt about the situation, but he refused to give us a refund. We are now out over $900. We were also looking forward to washing our clothes at this VRBO apartment & when we got there he told us the washer was broken. According to another review back in early September, the washer was broken then too! The whole check-in process was weird too. Overall, would not recommend.

Really enjoyed the apartment. We loved seeing the sights of Amsterdam for the first time, but would have been happy just sitting in the beautiful living room overlooking the canal. Hosts were attentive to our needs.

We enjoyed staying at Jesse’s. The location was perfect and we could walk just about anywhere and it has a great view! Jesse is very responsive and helpful with the whole process. Would highly recommend!
