This is a great find! Tucked into a forest, this accomodation is both secluded and close to the wine region of Margaret River. There was also excellent and friendly service - we really enjoyed our stay!

loved the environment, the fact that you could walk around the 40 acre property to connect with nature and feel like you've had time away from daily living.

My family (2 adults and 3 months baby) spent an amazing 2 nights at Karriview recently. The location is perfect to explore the Margaret River attractions and the setting is amazing. Panoramic sweeping view of the tree tops baked in sunshine while having breakfast is just the perfect start to the day. There're plenty of kangaroos to be seen while walking around the place. Our baby loved the scenery and we had so many priceless family photos together here.
The host Richard gave us a free upgrade to a larger room to make our stay more comfortable with a baby. We didn't ask nor did we expect it so it was a lovely gesture.
Breakfast had delicious local bread and fresh produce. Service was exceptional. My wife is allergic to kiwi fruit (which was already mixed into the fruit salad) so Richard offered to make a separate fruit bowl just for her. On the night that the restaurant closed, Richard offered us cutlery and use of microwave so we can heat up food if we decide to buy from supermarket instead of eating out.
We cannot wait to come back next time with our extended family. Thank you Richard!

This is a rustic, beautiful, 'lodge' setting in the Margaret River. Very quiet. The staff were very nice indeed and the food was great. If you want a reasonably priced quiet get away in proximity to world class wines- this is an excellent choice.

A wonderful hidden gem with an awesome view and relaxing, peaceful atmosphere. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We’re definitely going to stay there again next time we travel down south!

This is a wonderful place to spend a week. We came in the quiet time before the Easter holiday, so often had the place nearly to ourselves. Mornings and evenings amongst the giant trees were a photographer’s dream. Our hosts, Rich and Helen, took very good care of us. We loved walking the property trails, watching the kangaroos come out in the evening to feed from the nearby hillsides. Karriview feels a bit like a throwback place to stay- not fancy, but clean, comfortable, beautiful and close enough to be convenient to wineries and Margaret Rivertown. Would love to stay again if we’re this way..

This place is amazing! Located in a beautiful, tranquil spot, with cozy but large rooms. The main "lodge" gives you a sense of waking into a luxury ski resort, is so lovely. I will definitely come back!

Excellent all round ! High quality accommodation in a beautiful setting. The breakfast was the best we have had on our travels - all very fresh and bread, cereal etc locally sourced . Staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly . Wished we could have stayed longer .

The stay was fantastic, staff and Richard are very friendly, helpful. Rooms are big convenient, clean. Good breakfast for place inside the woods. Other eating places, wineries and beaches easily reachable . We enjoyed our three nights stay.

Fantastic lodge with rustic overtones adding to its delightful ambiance, very spacious, comfortable and spotless.
Richard, his wife and staff could not do enough for us which added to the pleasure of our stay and sorry we only had five days stay there. Been travelling along the west coast and this is by far the best place we have stayed at.
The location is great with beaches, town and wonderful bush walks close by.

It was a lovely relaxed stay for a week. It was a nice touch to have one barista coffee included with breakfast in the tarriff along with the usual self service tea and coffee. This is the first as normally at other venues there is a charge. The only suggestion we have is more comfortable chairs on the balcony.

Richard was a wonderful host….very attentive and thoughtful. Resort is in a fabulous location surrounded by Karri and peppermint trees, just a short drive from stunning Gracefarm beach.
Rooms are enormous and comfortable but it is due for a Reno…especially the bathrooms. They were spotless but showing their age.
Breakfast was a highlight every day… superb fruit, breads, cereals and coffee.
We would certainly return and look forward to seeing the ongoing transformation.

Highly recommend this hotel for short or long stay! The whole area is so beautiful, spacious, amazing view. The room is comfortable, clean and nice bed! The breakfast is very nice too and they serve the best yogurt in Australia!

This property is fantastic. It is large, spacious and a bit quirky. The hosts Richard & Helen and very friendly, helpful and great hosts. The meals are limited but excellent and dinner conversations good fun. We loved it!!

Lovely older property with beautiful grounds and very welcoming hospitality. Rooms are roomy and clad with eclectric antique furniture. The beds are very comfortable with nice linens. Richard was very accommodating to each guests needs, and served a delicious breakfast every morning. Easy, free parking. The 5 local peacocks made for an entertaining show!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here of two nights. An easy drive to Margaret River township of about 10minutes.
If you’re looking for peace and quiet this is the place to head for. A charming resort set in beautiful grounds with quiet woodland roundabout and home for a ‘family’ of peacocks in all their splendour. The staff were warm and very welcoming after a long drive there. We were relieved to be offered a welcome evening meal though the restaurant was not open as such.
Our cabin was very comfortable and spacious. A great shower with hot water and balcony looking out on to woodland and wider grounds. Very calming and peaceful.
Breakfast was continental style, sufficient but a little on the light side I thought. Maybe some boiled eggs or cheeses could be offered also.
All in all a very pleasant stay. I would certainly return.

Had three nights as a family at this hidden gem. Tucked away from the main road you can enjoy the balcony overlooking the woods, listening to nature doing it thing. The room was spacious and clean, the staff were welcoming and friendly. It was a joy to stay here and will be doing so in the future.

From the minute e arrived the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We got a tour of all the different areas and then shown to our room. It was very old worldly with period furniture etc and our room was huge(we actually got a suite). Breakfast was just enough for us as we don’t have a huge breakfast, toast, yogurt, fruit cereal and tea/coffee. You could walk to Gracetown but the weather was to bad. We weren’t far from Margaret River, Gracetown, Dunsborough, Canal Rocks, Yallingup, Hamlin Bay and Augusta. Very relaxing stay and would really recommend it to anyone who just wants to get away for a quiet break. Think we will definitely be back.
