Great location - easy access to the town, but up the hill and away from any traffic noise. Two pubs, gorgeous walks and artisan pizza on the doorstep! I'd recommend the stroll we did to Lumsdale Valley, part of the Derwent Valley Mills UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Beautiful house, everything looked like new and it was very well equipped. Sofas and beds really comfortable. Opposite is a little craft beer micro pub and another one round the corner. Short 10-min walk downhill to the town.

No parking at the property. Albeit there is parking nearby.

We hadden een heel huis tot onze beschikking met voldoende slaapkamers.
Een ruime keuken en een gezellige woonkamer.
Ook het plaatsje Matlock is leuk en in de buurt is op loopafstand veel te zien.
Tegenover het huis is een gezellig café.
Er is maar één toilet en die zit op de eerste verdieping en er is geen parkeerplaats bij de accommodatie.
Als je geluk hebt, kun je om de hoek parkeren, maar moet je een stukje lopen en heb je geen zicht op je voertuig.

The property was absolutely beautiful inside and out! The facilities were great! And it was so clean with fresh interior!
The hill it was placed on. Not that it took away from our stay as a taxi up was cheap and the walk down was scenic and charming.

We were extremely impressed with the property. The house was lovely, tastefully decorated to a high standard, comfortable and welcoming. We felt it was very good value.
We really enjoyed our stay and the bottle of wine was appreciated and a lovely touch.
Would highly recommend to anyone for a short break or longer stay and will be booking again in the future.
One minor suggestion would be to provide a basic drying rack for wet weather. Otherwise we could not fault the accommodation.

Beautiful property with a lot of charm. Great location. Was welcomed with a bottle of wine tea coffee sugar, and milk was provided on arrival which is a very nice touch. House was modern and clean and just felt like being at home.
